LEGO 2015 Advent Calendars Now Available on Shop@Home

It’s September 1st on the east coast and that means the new LEGO 2015 Advent Calendars are now available for purchase at Shop@Home. There are three different themes to choose from LEGO Star Wars, LEGO City, and LEGO Friends. If you want one, I suggest you pick them up as soon as possible because they tend to sell out fairly quickly.

LEGO Minecraft 2016 Set Details

The LEGO Minecraft theme will be continuing in 2016 with a few more of the minifigure-scale sets. CM4Sci on Eurobricks has posted the names of four sets that will be coming out next year. I don’t play Minecraft anymore but doing some research, the sets do sound interesting. Like with the current wave, there will be a few different biomes that will be played out in the new Minecraft sets.

The Iron Golem (21123)
The End Portal (21124)
The Jungle Tree House (21125)
The Wither (21126)

The Iron Golem set, you’ll probably be getting a few minifigures since the Iron Golem defends villages of at least 10 villagers. Obviously LEGO won’t be putting that many in a what I expect to be a smaller set but I think there will be a few.

The End Portal will probably contain a lot of gray parts with some green portals.

I think The Jungle Tree House is exactly what it sounds like. There will be some sort of house in a jungle setting so expect to see lots of trees and such.

Finally, The Wither is a floating, three-headed boss. It is created with soul sand in a T-shape and you put wither skeleton skulls at the top so I think there will be some wither skeleton minifigures in the set.

More Details of LEGO Ideas WALL·E (21303) Delayed Release

LEGO Ideas WALL•E (21303)

A few days ago, I reported that the upcoming LEGO Ideas WALL·E (21303) set was possibly being delayed due to an issue with the build. There wasn’t any specifics of what the issue was or how long the release would be delayed because there hasn’t been an official statement by LEGO about it. However, they did mention on Twitter that it would be slightly delayed at LEGO Stores and on Shop@Home but you can find it at other retailers like Toys R Us and such. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the set will be available on September 21 but I’m not sure where the source is for that date. I’ve also heard that it might available on September 27. As far as I know, the set is being delayed indefinitely.

The issue in question is the head/neck area where the head connects to the neck. The neck connection isn’t able to support the weight of the head and it will swing backwards every time you tilt the head up. The only problem with you getting it early is that you won’t have the the parts needed to stabilize the head. A few people who already have purchased WALL·E have contacted LEGO Customer Service and they are being sent parts 4211695 and 4265484 to help alleviate the problem but it doesn’t seem to make sense because they only further support the neck more but doesn’t really solve the problem with the joint in the neck holding the head as it will still swing backwards due to … Continue

LEGO Dimensions Gaming Capsule Storage Accessory

LEGO Dimensions Gaming Capsule

As we’ve already seen before, there are a lot of minifigures and builds for the upcoming LEGO Dimensions video game. The folks over at Hoth Bricks has found the first accessory to be associated with the Dimensions. Over on Amazon UK, there is an accessory called a Gaming Capsule which is able to store game units as well as being able to fit the minifigures and builds for the expansions packs. I’m not sure at this time if the LEGO Dimensions Gaming Capsule is a European item or if it’ll be available here in the US as well. It is currently out of stock on Amazon UK but you can still order it and it’ll be delivered when it is available.

LEGO Collectible Minifigures (71010) Series 14 Monsters Giveaway #1

Do I smell a giveaway in the near future?

As you can see from the image above, I have a full box of the Series 14 Monsters LEGO Collectible Minifigures (71010). As we know by now, there are three complete sets of 16 minifigures in a full box and that is what I have in my possession. With that, I’ll be doing three separate giveaways until the rest of the year to three lucky fans for each set 16. The first giveaway will be in this post and the others will be held on Halloween, October 31 and on either Thanksgiving, November 26 or on Christmas, December 25. I haven’t decided on the last one yet.

To enter the giveaway, just use the Rafflecopter widget below. It’s pretty simple and straightforward and in two weeks, I’ll be randomly choosing a winner through the widget and that fan will be sent a set of 16 Monsters minifigs for free.

I didn’t feel like feeling for each minifigure so when you receive them, they will be opened but will have everything that should be there including the leaflets and the stands.

Good luck everyone and I would like to thank the LEGO CEE team for sending a box in for me to do this giveaway.

New LEGO Minifigures Animated Stickers on Facebook

LEGO Minifigures Series 2 Facebook Stickers

If you use Facebook, earlier today LEGO has rolled out a new wave of LEGO Minifigures Stickers that you can use in your chat or messages and in comments as well. Unlike some of the previous Stickers from the first wave, all of the new ones are animated. It’s nothing really actual LEGO related but it’s something fun especially for the start of the weekend. If you haven’t yet, go follow my page on Facebook as well. I’d really appreciate it.
