San Diego Comic Con 2016 will be kicking off very soon and there are plenty of LEGO-related things to do at the event. As part of the press, we’ve been invited to attend a roundtable session with some of the developers of TT Games including Game Directors James Mcloughlin and Arthur Parsons as well as some unannounced voice talents to discuss the new Year 2 content for LEGO Dimensions before their panel.
If you have any questions to ask about the upcoming LEGO Dimensions content, let me know in the comments section below all I’ll try my best to relay the messages. Please keep the questions strictly to what has been already announced and not to future LEGO themes or minifigures because they will most likely give a suggestive response.
In addition to all the cool LEGO Dimensions Adventure Time packs that will be coming out this fall, there will also be a Toys R Us exclusive with the Adventure Time Marceline Fun Pack (71285). This Fun Pack features a Marceline The Vampire Queen minifigure along with a brick-built Lunatic Amp. The Adventure Time Fun Pack will be available at Toys R Us on November 18.
Keep the Adventure Time party rocking in the LEGO Dimensions multiverse with Marceline the Vampire Queen! Build and place her on the LEGO Toy Pad to send her into the game with her Sonar Smash and Bolt Deflector abilities using the Marceline Axe Guitar. Activate her Telekinesis and Teleport skills to make your way through the Adventure Time Adventure World and Battle Arena. build and use Marceline’s Lunatic Amp to make some noise, and rebuild it into the Shadow Scorpion and Heavy Metal Monster when you need even more power.

The San Diego Comic Con 2016 schedules are out and surprisingly, there aren’t that many LEGO panels this year as compared to last year. I scanned the schedules and I’ve only found there are three and they are all on Sunday.
The first panel revolves around LEGO Dimensions and the new content that will be coming out in a few months.
The second one is for LEGO Ninjago and it will be discussing the latest season and also talk about the development of the sets as well as some new stories for Ninjago.
The final panel is for LEGO Nexo Knights and they will discuss the characters and the development of the TV series as well as the product design process of the sets.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, and The LEGO Group offer Comic-Con attendees a new glimpse inside the ever-expanding realm of LEGO Dimensions. Be among the first to see a new trailer, new characters, and game features in this unparalleled mash-up game experience. Featuring key members of the TT Games development team and voice acting talent. All attendees will receive a limited-edition LEGO Green Arrow minifigure! Earlier today, Mark Warburton from TT Games shared some images of the Sonic the Hedgehog minifigure that will coming out for year two of LEGO Dimensions. As we know by know Sonic the Hedgehog will be one of the new licensed properties that will be coming to the popular toys-to-life genre along with a slew of other characters.
As you can see, the Sonic LEGO minifigure is pretty true to the character with the new molded head piece. He is also shown holding a life preserver piece instead of the One Ring piece as shown at the end of the trailer but this could be just a placeholder. We’ll have to wait and see when the images of the expansion pack are released.
Thanks to everyone who emailed this in from NeoGAF while I was at work.
