LEGO House Dagny Holm – Master Builder (40503) Revealed

LEGO has revealed the third set in the LEGO House exclusives with Dagny Holm – Master Builder (40503). The set comes after The Wooden Duck (40501) and The Brick Moulding Machine (40502) from previous years.

Dagny Holm was the niece of Ole Kirk Kristiansen and was the first LEGO Master Builder. She was responsible for all the LEGO models in LEGOLAND Billund and retired as LEGO’s Chief Designer in 1986 at the age of 70.

The set has 1,068 pieces and costs 599 DKK and is only available at the LEGO House. The set features Dagny Holm and some of her LEGOLAND Billund creations such as the giraffe and other models in the workshop.

LEGO® House reveals new LEGO House Exclusive product: Dagny Holm – Master Builder (40503)

The newest LEGO® House Exclusive product – the 3rd item in the LEGO House Limited Edition series, is available at the LEGO House Retail Store in Billund, Denmark starting today March 1, 2022.

LEGO House proudly introduces “Dagny Holm – Master Builder” (40503) as a tribute to the very first Master Builder in the LEGO Group. We are excited to present another iconic part of the LEGO history.

Dagny Holm was the first LEGO Master Builder, and she made a massive impact on model designing with her way of working with LEGO bricks in a cubistic and realistic way and her legacy can still be found in many areas within the LEGO Group.

LEGO Transformers Optimus Prime (10302) Rumored for Summer 2022?

There’s a new rumor coming out of left field of a possible LEGO Transformers Optimus Prime set coming this summer. Promobricks is reporting that the set will have set number 10302 and will have 1,508 pieces. It is also presumed that Optimus Prime could be based on the upcoming Transformers: Rise of the Beasts movie that is also coming out this year and it will have him with a jetpack and his rifle blaster along with an information plaque.

This is interesting news because Hasbro/KRE-O had the license for Transformers building sets for a long time. If it did expire and LEGO has acquired the license, it’ll be the first time that there will be LEGO Transformers sets. This piece of news is so random that I have a hard time believing it but LEGO has been making surprising moves this year so it’s not totally out of the realm of possibility. I wouldn’t hold my breath and get your hopes up on this rumor until there’s some concrete information.

LEGO Brand Store (40528) Set Revealed

In the past day, there have been reviews that have surfaced of a brand new LEGO Store (40528) set. It looks like the consensus is that you can get it for free starting next year with purchases of $125 when new LEGO stores are opened.

The store includes details that you can find in a real LEGO store such as the Pick-a-Brick wall, various stickered sets, the wooden duck, and what looks to be the Tree of Discovery which is seen in the New York flagship store.

It’s a decent niche set but a majority of you will probably never get it if it for store grand openings. You can usually check the LEGO store calendar to see which stores will be opening and hopefully there’s one that will be opening near you.
