With the Series 9 LEGO Collectible Minifigures not even out yet, we might have some clues on what the Series 10 minifigures could be. Aanchir on Eurobricks has found out some new images of some pieces from Brickset’s parts database that didn’t fit into any current sets or any upcoming sets that we know about. Further along in the thread, you can see a few of the pieces assembled into their respective minifigures. Notice there is a 17th character in the listing with some speculation that one of the minifigures will be the free exclusive in the upcoming LEGO Minifigures: Character Encyclopedia. If this is true, these minifigs will be packaged in the gold polybags and will be released sometime in 2013.

Update 1: ReZourceman has compiled all the new relevant pieces to create whole minfigures in the series. The names are also updated to what the figures appear as and not what the final names will be.
Update 2: The Daily Brick has released the official names of the Series 10 Collectible Minifigures and will have set number 71001.
