Flickr user, motayan, has posted images of the new LEGO Lord of the Rings Pirate Ship Ambush (79008). The ship measures 23.5 inches (39.7 cm) long and 14 inches (35.5 cm) high. As revealed at the London Toy Fair yesterday, there will be 9 minifigures: Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, King of the Dead, 2 Soldier of the Dead, Pirate of Umbar, 2 Mordor Orcs. The set will retail for £89.99 which is around $140.

    Very cool! I’ve grown fond of the King of the Dead while playing the video game so it’ll be nice to have him and a few soldiers in plastic form. I hope those dead soldiers are also available as keychains or in an army building pack.

      A battle pack of Dead Soldiers would be cool. Maybe have them fighting against the Pirates or more Orcs. I’m pretty excited for the ship.
