Like with all the LEGO encyclopedias, you also get an exclusive minifigure as a bonus. In this book, you will receive the Toy Soldier. His torso shows him wearing a red uniform with a white belt and gold buckle. The buttons on the uniform are also gold. There is also some minor gold printing on the arms around the cuff area. The legs are solid blue with some striped side gold printing. Around the neck is a neck bracket that has a wind-up key much like the Clockwork Robot from Series 6. He has a single sided head with a smiling expression and pink cheeks. The hat strap is also printed on the face. The hat is red with a black bill and some printing.

Book

The table of contents lists all 160 Collectible Minifigures from the line. The next couple of pages shows the 8-member Minifigure Design Team and the steps they take to create a single minifig. Each minifigure gets their own page which show their tagline and description of it. There are also some random “Mini Facts” and “Did You Know?” sections for each minifig. In addition, there are also pages where minifigs from different series are included in a scene. The Toy Soldier also makes random appearances throughout the book to give quirky quotes. The book is up-to-date with it showing Series 10 as well. At the end of the book, Mr. Gold is described along with the Toy Soldier on the next page.
