We’re now on Day 2 for the LEGO Star Wars 2015 Advent Calendar (75097) and it looks like we already have a theme going for the first couple of mini builds with items from Tatooine.
Yesterday we got Jabba’s Sail Barge and today we get the Sarlacc Pit. It’s a very simple model that is built on a 4×4 tan plate. There are 1×1 clip and tooth pieces to represent the Sarlacc’s tenticles while a stud in the middle represents the maw.
Notice there’s also a 1×1 trans-clear plate on one of the corners which lets you attach the Sail Barge on to it to make a little scene. This is a very pleasant surprise as this is the first time that LEGO has done it for the Star Wars Advent Calendars and I’m hoping that it continues later on in the calendar.
