LEGO Announces Monkey Palace Board Game

The LEGO Group and game publisher Asmodee have announced their first jointly-crafted board game called Monkey Palace. Available starting on October 3 at Spiel Essen and select retailers around the world, Monkey Palace is a jungle-themed game of light strategy for two to four players that incorporates both collaborative and competitive elements. Players must strategically work together to construct the Monkey Palace while competing for the highest brick income and points.

Introducing Monkey Palace – A Playful Board Game Collaboration by the LEGO Group and Asmodee

Billund & Boulogne-Billancourt – January 25, 2024 – Today, the LEGO Group and Asmodee announced their first jointly-crafted board game, Monkey Palace. The game will be officially unveiled to retailers and industry partners at the Nuremberg Toy Fair and will be available for purchase from October 3 at Spiel Essen, the world’s largest board game convention, and from select leading retailers around the world.

Monkey Palace was created by game designers, David Gordon and Tin Aung Myaing, and provides family fun for all ages. It is a jungle-themed game of light strategy tailored for two to four players, that incorporates both collaborative and competitive elements.

Players must strategically work together to construct the Monkey Palace while competing for the highest brick income and points, all under the watchful gaze of the Monkey. The palace gradually takes form, resulting in an impressive construction using LEGO elements that players can proudly display at home. LEGO Ideas Medieval Tournament Achieves 10,000 Supporters

Medieval Tournament by hello_zol is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 2,887 piece build features some castle towers along with archery and jousting fields along with a spectator stand.

The project joins Spirited Away, Appa the Sky Bison, from Avatar the Last Airbender, Venus Flytrap, Minerals Display, Dreamworks’ Shrek’s Swamp 2, Hello Kitty and Friends – 50 Years, and Dr. Seuss’s The Grinch as the ones to reach the First 2024 Review Stage.

LEGO Space Sets Confirmed for More Themes

The 2024 London Toy Fair is now going on and there’s some LEGO Space news coming out of the event from Brickset. As we know by now, LEGO is celebrating the Space theme this year with space sets being produced from a wide range of themes including City, Classic, Creator, DREAMZzz, DUPLO, Friends, and Technic.

According to a graphic from the toy fair, it looks like LEGO has made space sets for even more themes such as Art, Icons, and even the Collectible Minifigures line. We’ll most likely see these space sets during the summer 2024 releases.… Continue

LEGO Ideas Exploring the Cosmos Building Contest for Insiders Reward Set

LEGO Ideas has started a new building contest called Exploring the Cosmos and the winning build will become an official LEGO Insiders Reward set. Using 150-250 pieces, the build should be based on space exploration vehicles or planetary bases. The submission intake will run until February 21 and builds will be reviewed before going out to a fan vote starting a week after. The winning build will be announced on March 13.

The grand prize winner will get 10 copies of the final set as well as the following:
