LEGO Ideas The Hubble Space Telescope Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Hubble Space Telescope by GRusso is the latest project to get 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. It barely made the deadline to reach the Second Review Stage for 2014. With the recent popularity of science-type projects for LEGO fans such as the Research Institute, it’s cool to see another project join the ranks of projects to achieve 10,000 supporters.

It now joins the Assault on Wayne Manor, Invisible Hand, X-Men: X-Mansion, LEGO Lightsabers, UCS All Terrain Armoured Transport, WALL•E, and The Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters as the projects that will be reviewed by the LEGO Jury.

Also, the results of the first 2014 LEGO Review Stage should be coming very soon so we’ll get to see if either the LEGO Bird Project, Modular Apple Store, BTTF – Jules Verne Train, Doctor Who, The Big Bang Theory, or Doctor Who and Companions will become an official LEGO set.

Congratulations to GRusso for this achievement!

LEGO Classic Space/Batman T-Shirt on Ript Apparel

Ript Apparel has a really cool LEGO t-shirt offering today which features the Classic Space logo combined with Batman’s Batwing. Another cool thing with the shirt is that it has a glow-in-the-dark ink so you can show off the shirt at night as well. The shirt starts at $10 and is on sale for 24 hours, which has about 20 hours left as of this writing. You usually don’t see shirts with glow-in-the-dark in at this price so this is a pretty good deal.

LEGO Minecraft Minifigure Scale Sets Official Box Images

I guess the cat’s out of the bag now since everyone is posting about this. I saw the images this morning but held off posted them in case there’s some kind of embargo going on with the sets. The official images of the boxes for the new LEGO Minecraft minifigure scale sets are now available from Brickshop.nl. There’s not much information of the sets but as least you see what they look like. There’s also a chance that these sets could be announced at New York Comic Con 2014.
