LEGO October 2014 Double VIP Points Starts Today

It’s the first of October and you know what that means, new promotions and events at LEGO Brand Stores and on Shop@Home. Probably the main thing that most people will be going for is the Double VIP Points during the whole month of October on every item. Every $50 you spend, you can earn $5 in VIP Points which goes a long way in getting you discounts on your purchases.

LEGO TECHNIC 2015 Official Images Revealed

LEGO TECHNIC fans, you now get in on the official images for the 2015 LEGO TECHNIC sets courtesy of Just2Good. The Race Truck gets a slight update from the set of the same name (8041) from 2011. Although I’m not into LEGO TECHNIC, I must say that the 24 Hours Race Car looks pretty nice. There’s also a set that does not have images yet and that’s the Record Breaker (42033) which is some sort of rocket car.

Update: The images for the Record Breaker are now available via Spielwaren-Bludau.

LEGO Ninjago 2015 Official Images Revealed

Day 3 of the LEGO 2015 reveals by Just2Good is now here and he has now shown the LEGO Ninjago 2015 sets. If you watch the animated TV show, you would know that the Anacondrai is back and it looks like LEGO will be having sets focus on them next year. Also, the boxes go back to the red color scheme when the theme was first introduced in 2011 with a slight variation.

*Spoiler Alert* – We also get two new Ninjas to the team including an Orange and Titanium one. The Orange Ninja looks to be a female named Skylar while the Titanium Ninja is Zane. I’m not sure who the Orange Ninja is but we’ll be seeing more of her next year.

Note that an unknown set 70751 and Jay’s ElectroMech (70754) is not shown below.

LEGO Subscription Box – BrickSwag Sepember 2014 Review

You may be familiar with this thing called Loot Crate where you pay a monthly subscription and you get a mysterious box filled with stuff that is geeky. More and more companies are going towards this same business model and Brick Builders Club is one that is centered with LEGO content. This new membership service was first revealed at Philly Brick Fest a few weeks ago. I’ve recently received one for review and you can see if it’s something that interests you or not.

Like I mentioned before, the Brick Builders Club is a membership based service that is filled with LEGO-related items but more for something to show you new ways to use your existing LEGO bricks.

The first item in the September box is a small poster featuring a pirate ninja throwing some stars with the caption “Throwing Starrgh!”

Every month, you will also get a t-shirt with the box and this month’s shirt is the Star Wars one which is almost the same one that I got from Philly Brick Fest back in April. This version has the Brick Builders Club logo in the corner instead of PFB. There will be a new design every month so you won’t be getting the same one if you’re a subscriber. Sizes of the shirts range from kids small to adult 3XL.

LEGO Speed Champions 2015 Official Images Revealed

Just2Good continues to make LEGO fans happy by revealing images of the 2015 LEGO sets. In this latest video, he has shown us the new LEGO Speed Champions sets that will be coming out in 2015. It looks like LEGO has teamed up with some top Supercar manufacturers such as Ferrari, McLaren (Mercedes), and Porsche to produce some pretty cool looking vehicles. Note that each set also includes at least one minifigure that has printed emblems of the respective cars on their torso.

Last year, we reported that LEGO may be coming out with some sets based on the popular TV show, Top Gear. Although, these new sets doesn’t have the Top Gear label, there are a few vehicles that the hosts have driven before on the show.

There are no images of the box art for the 2015 LEGO Speed Champions sets at this time but we’ll have them up once they are available.

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes 2015 Official Images Revealed

It’s a new day and Just2Good is back with new images of the 2015 LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes sets. I know that many of you guys have been waiting for this and now we get to see the official images of the sets. Unfortunately, he does not have images of the Brainiac Attack (76040) set at this time. We’ll update this post as soon as they are avaialble. Stay tuned later today as J2G will be revealing images of either the LEGO Ninjago or LEGO Speed Champions sets.

Green Lantern vs. Sinestro (76025)

We already seen this set at San Diego Comic Con 2014. The minifigures included are Sinestro, Green Lantern, and Space Batman.

Gorilla Grodd Goes Bananas (76026)

In this set, we have some sort of Bat-Mech build and the Invisible Plane. There is also a little truck which looks like a Little Tikes Cozy Coupe. The minifigures that are included are Gorilla Grood (BigFig), Captain Cold, Truck Driver, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Batman.

Black Manta Deep Sea Strike (76027)

For this set, there’s a sub that Batman rides while Black Manta has his manta-shaped sub. There’s also a small structure that Robin hangs to. Minifigures included are Black Manta, Aquaman, Scuba Robin, and Batman.

Darkseid Invasion (76028)

This set includes the Javelin while Darkseid rides some sort of hover vehicle. The minifigures that are in this set are Darkseid (BigFig), Green Arrow, Hawkman, Cyborg, and Superman.

Brainiac Attack (76040)

This set contains four minifigures: Brainiac, Martian Manhunter, Superman, and Supergirl.

LEGO DUPLO 2015 Official Images Revealed

This post may not be of much interest to many of us but Brickipedia has posted images of the 2015 LEGO DUPLO sets. Sofia the First is the latest Disney Princess to make her way to the LEGO sets.
