Just like that and then 2016 Nuremberg Toy Fair has started and there are now some images of the summer wave of LEGO sets. The guys over at PromoBricks and Zusammengebaut are there and they have provided the images for the world to see. There will also be videos as well from both sites later as well as more higher quality images when they are settled in after each day. Again, I’ll keep this post updated as more images are shared. Also if you haven’t checked it out yet, I’ve compiled a list of some of the sets we should be seeing in summer 2016. Images continued after the break.

Earlier this month, I’ve done reviews on the three new LEGO Architecture 2016 skyline sets with Venice (21026), Berlin (21027), and New York City (21028). LEGO, in addition, has also provided one of the landmark sets with the Burj Khalifa (21031). It contains 333 pieces and will retail for $39.99. The contents of the box include two un-numbered bags and the instruction booklet.

LEGO Architecture Berlin (21027)

I’m back with the third LEGO Architecture 2016 skyline themed review with Berlin (21027). This is the middle sized set of the wave coming in at 289 pieces. Again, I’m not sure of the price point but I believe it’ll be close or the same as Venice. The contents of the box include four un-numbered bags and the instruction booklet.

LEGO Architecture Venice (21026)

Yesterday I started my reviews of the new LEGO Architecture “skyline” models, as I like to call them, with New York City (21028) and I’m back with another one today with Venice (21026). Like with New York City, the Venice set shows some of the most notable landmarks in the city.

In 2016, LEGO will be releasing a few more LEGO Architecture sets but with a little change to the format that’s been working for them. For this next wave, a few of the sets will have a skyline format with some recognizable buildings from a particular city.

LEGO 2016 Set Rumors (Various Themes)

It’s that time of the year were more details of 2016 set will be coming out. My trusty source has provided me with some more rumored LEGO sets coming throughout next year. There are no pictures but I do have some details for various themes. Let’s just start alphabetically by theme.

For the Architecture sets, we kinda knew about the city type ones but one that wasn’t touched on was one featuring Buckingham Palace from the United Kingdom. It’s made up of lots of tan pieces and also includes a mini double-decker bus.

There was also mentioning of one of the LEGO Ghostbusters sets from the reboot movie which I posted the announcement earlier today. All I have from Ghostbusters is a set number of 75828 with $79.99 NZD.

LEGO TECHNIC fans also get in on the fun with a Bucket Wheel Excavator (42055) that goes for $499 NZD. There’s also another TECHNIC set named “Ultimate Vehicle” which goes for $699 NZD. I’m not sure if that’s the final name of it or not but that’s what I was told.

Although I said I would go alphabetically with themes, I saved what could be an awesome set for last. Back in 2013, LEGO released the LEGO Creator Sydney Opera House (10234) which was based off of the famous building in Australia. Rumor has it that LEGO will be releasing another world building set with the Big Ben (10253) from London with the pricing at $499 NZD.
