LEGO Minifigure Ceramic Mug (853910)

A new month means new LEGO products are now available on Shop@Home. The main thing we know about is the Ford Mustang but there’s also some household items you may be interested in. The thing that I’m talking about is the LEGO Minifigure Ceramic Mug (853910). Retailing for $14.99, the mug features a yellow minifigure head with a smirking expression. Why not start your day off with a cup of coffee using this brand new mug?

100th North America LEGO Store Exclusive Minifigure Review

100th North America LEGO Store Minifigure

Today LEGO opened their 100th North America LEGO Brand Store at the Crossgates Mall in Albany, NY and to celebrate, all brand stores gave away an exclusive minifigure and poster. With purchases of $50 or more, you can get the 100th LEGO Store minifigure that is in the same San Diego Comic Con clamshell style with a backing card. The card itself is metallic and it shows the 100 LEGO Stores in North America.

For the minifigure, it is the same as the LEGO Shop Employee Minifigure (5001622) polybag from 2015 but this new one has exclusive printing of 100 LEGO Stores in North America on the back.

As for the poster, it is 11×17 and it is similar to the backing card with the metallic sheen and it shows the employee minifigure on the bottom.

Overall, LEGO did not announce this promotion and it was a total surprise for a majority of people. The only reason that I got it was I saw people posting images of it online and I hurried over to my store to get one. Again, you have to make a purchase of $50 or more at a LEGO Brand Store, while supplies last.

Update: Apparently there was an email blast that was sent out but I didn’t get that email even though I’m signed up for them. This promotion will run starting today until Sunday.

LEGO LEGOLAND Driving School (40347)

There’s a new exclusive LEGO set that has started showing up at LEGOLAND parks called the Driving School (40347). It has 209 pieces and it is basically a miniature version of the actual driving school kids can participate in at LEGOLAND parks around the world. The set has four minifigures and two cars along with some traffic signs and mini builds. Thanks to Dennis for sending the images over.

EclipseGRAFX Custom LEGO Stan Lee Excelsior Minifigure Review

EclipseGRAFX Custom LEGO Stan Lee Excelsior Minifigure

Back during Black Friday last month, EclipseGRAFX released a limited edition Excelsior minifigure set which is basically a custom LEGO minifigure of Stan Lee to celebrate his life. Some of the items that were in the set include a custom tin, the Stan Lee minifigure, a card similar to the style of the 1990 Impel Marvel Universe cards, a custom sticker, and a custom 2×3 printed tile. If you pre-ordered last month, you also get a custom printed window pane.

LEGO Minifigure Collector Frame (5005359) Review

LEGO Minifigure Collector Frame (5005359)

Starting next week on October 15 until the end of the month, LEGO will be running a new promotion at LEGO Brand Stores and on Shop@Home for the LEGO Minifigure Collector Frame (5005359). The set has 55 pieces and you can get it for free with purchases of $75 or more, while supplies last. The frame comes “packaged” in a slipcover and the bag of parts are taped on to the frame. Don’t worry, the tape won’t stick so much to the frame that it’ll rip it.

It is not available online at this time and I’m not sure if it will be or not. I’ve already done a review of the set if you want to check it out.
