LEGO Star Wars: Episode 7 Video Game Confirmed?

Back in October, there was an image of a LEGO Star Wars Finn (30605) polybag that showed up online. Many people noticed that there was a code on the bottom left corner of the packaging which may suggest that it’ll be included with a video game as they usually are.

It looks like Twitter user Shinobi602 has found an Amazon Italy listing of a LEGO Star Wars: Episode 7 video game for the PlayStation 4. It also lists the release date is May 31, 2016 which could just be a placeholder and the listing mentions that some of the playable characters include Rey, Finn, Poe, BB-8, Kylo Ren, and Han Solo.

Shinobi602 also mention there will be a Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announcement tomorrow for the game as well so we’ll see if WB sends over a press release in the morning.

LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures and Rogue One Announced at Nuremberg

Readers here may or may not have noticed that there were no images of the summer wave of LEGO Star Wars sets. The reason is because photography of the sets were prohibited. That didn’t keep people from leaking the images though. I won’t be posting them and will be waiting until LEGO allows photography, hopefully at the New York Toy Fair.

However PromoBricks has provided some additional information about the upcoming LEGO Star Wars sets including the name of the TV series two of the sets will be based on. The Freemaker Adventures is a new LEGO TV series that will be airing in August, similar to The Yoda Chronicles and Droid Tales. There are two ships, Eclipse Fighter (75145) and Star Scavenger (75147), that will play an integral part in the show.

Also announced at the LEGO Star Wars press conference at Nuremberg is that we should expect some sets based on the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story movie. There are no details on these sets but they are expected to be released in October to coincide with the movie release in December. It was also mentioned that there’s a new lightsaber that was shown that is similar to Count Dooku’s curved saber.

The 2016 Nuremberg Toy Fair is still going on and PromoBricks is still giving out tidbids about some of the summer sets we should be expecting. You may have noticed that there were no photography for the upcoming Star Wars sets. There are reports saying that LEGO wants to keep a couple of the sets under wraps because it involves a new LEGO Star Wars property for later this year. However, there are some details of the 2016 Advent Calendar (75146). If you don’t want to be spoiled, I suggest STOP reading now.

LEGO Star Wars Buildable Figures Captain Phasma (75118) Review

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakes Buildable Figures Captain Phasma (75118)

In the beginning of the year, LEGO released some new LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens sets including the new wave of Buildable Figures sets. This includes some of the main characters in the movie including Captain Phasma (75118). The set has 82 pieces and retails at $24.99. The higher price is slightly justified by some of the items which I’ll explain a little later. The contents of the box include two un-numbered bags, a bagged cape, a loose torso frame, and the instructions booklet.
