The LEGO Creator 3-in-1 themes have always had interesting builds using the same bricks included with the set and one that I will be checking out is the Cozy House (31139). It has 808 pieces and retails for $59.99.
Minifigures
There are three minifigures in the set which you can interchange the parts. I’m just using the ones from the instructions. One of them has a blue space jacket that looks really good. His head piece has printing of a hearing aid on the side.
The other adult has a torso that shows a colorblast of LEGO’s sports mountain logo.
The kid has on a green sweater with some wavy lines on both sides of the torso.
Build
The main build of the set is the Cozy House which looks like your standard house layout. There’s a clip at the bottom to connect both halves together. The front lawn has a trash can and a mailbox while the back lawn has a patio with some chairs. I do like the pebbled walkway on both sides.
Inside the house, there are four rooms. The two upper are bedrooms, one with an orange bed and the other with a green. They’re pretty plain but both have table lamps. For the living room, theres a stone fireplace with a picture above it and a couch in front of it.
The kitchen has more items with the dinner table right in the middle with some bowls of soup, tomato judging by the color. The sink is filled with spoons.
The second model for the set is the three floor canal house. It has a more slender profile and it doesn’t fold like withe previous model. The front has a little deck in front of the water.
The first floor has a small cafe with a table and some stools. The next floor up is an art gallery with some pictures on the wall and an art piece in the middle of the room. The upper floor is an office with a great view of the canal. The attic is used for storage.
**Note that the upper floor in the images is backwards. I didn’t notice it until I took it apart for another build. I didn’t feel like rebuilding it again.**
The final model is the vacation lake house. It has an a-frame cabin look to it with a big lake in the front. There’s a small dock area and the motorboat in the water.
The front of the house has a small lawn area has a firepit where the people are cooking up some food. The other side has a sofa.
Inside the house, there’s a bathroom with the toilet where someone didn’t flush. The other side has a spot for the mail.
Results
Overall the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Cozy House (31139) is a fun little set that offers a good amount of playability. The main build has the most details while the other two has good front areas but the insides of the houses don’t have as much detail. The only bad thing about 3-in-1 sets is that you have to take everything apart to build the other models but you can circumvent that buy get multiple copies of the set.
