It looks like we have our first look at a new LEGO DC Super Hero Girls polybag with Krypto Saves the Day (30546). The set doesn’t feature any of the main Super Hero Girls but instead, we have Krypto on his own jet vehicle fighting against on of the bad guys who is on a glider-type vehicle. There’s no word on availability at this time. It is worth noting that the Krypto figure will also be available in the Lashina Tank (41233) set that is coming out January.
LEGO has released some new character posters for The LEGO Batman Movie featuring six of the main characters in the movie including Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Alfred, Joker, and Harley Quinn. Hopefully, they’ll be available at LEGO Stores and on Shop@Home with purchases similar to what they did with The LEGO Movie.
The time is now here. LEGO has released a new teaser trailer for the LEGO Ninjago Hands of Time which was first talked about back at San Diego Comic Con. This new season introduces a new character who presumably is able to control time. There’s no mentioning of when the season will start but it’ll be sometime next year.
If you’ve been in a LEGO Brand Store here in the US and have checked out the Pick & Build Wall, you may have noticed some elements on the wall has a decal indicating that they they are “Fan Favorites.” LEGO has announced on the Ambassador Network that the program will be continuing through 2018. The 2017 elements have been already selected but they are reaching out to help find the best selection of elements for 2018.
I’ve uploaded the Excel sheet of all the LEGO elements which you can download here (129mb) as well as the 2016 Color Palatte which you can find here.
What LEGO is looking for is for you to suggest your favorite LEGO element(s) which you can find on column F on the spreadsheet and your favorite color(s) on the palatte. Also, they would like to know if you have any ideas, suggestions or feedback regarding the PAB Wall as well as LEGO Brand Retail Stores in general.
Let us know in the comments below and I’ll try to tally up all the suggestions to send over. Note that this survey only affects LEGO Brand Retail North America. The deadline is January 13, 2017.
Amazon has updated the covers and descriptions on a lot of The LEGO Batman Movie books that will accompany the film and the one that interests me most is The LEGO Batman Movie: The Making of the Movie. I really enjoy books that go behind the scenes of how the movies were created and this book will deliver that.
The LEGO Batman Movie: The Making of the Movie has 200 pages and will retail for $24.99. Although it won’t be available until February 14, 2017, you can pre-order it now on Amazon and get the pre-order price guarantee which means you’ll get the lowest price between your order time and release.
Journey beyond the on-screen world of The LEGO® Batman™ Movie and get an inside look at how the animated movie was created with The LEGO® Batman™ Movie: The Making of the Movie.

It looks like there will be a lot of The LEGO Batman Movie posters coming out in the near future. There’s no word on a release date but I’m assuming they’ll be available at retailers in early 2017. If you look closely at one of the posters featuring some of the villains, you can see Bane riding an orange 4×4. Could this be one of the rumored summer 2017 sets?
Here’s something that’s new coming for 2017. LEGO will be releasing Wave 1 of some blind bags for the Nexo Knights theme called Combo NEXO Powers (70372) for fans to collect. Each blind bag will have five mystery NEXO powers which you can scan into the MERLOK 2.0 app. This first wave has 35 to collect so I’m assuming there will be more waves coming in the future.
I’m hearing they are starting to show up now at Target stores for $3.99 which is a little bit on the high side but if you’re a Nexo Knights fan, this may be something for you.
Furthermore, Just2Good has found some and has done an opening for them if you want to check it out.
Collect and combine the NEXO Powers to defeat Monstrox!
Open the bag to reveal the five ‘mystery’ NEXO Powers, then create your own way of defeating the enemy by combining three NEXO Powers into one. Place the NEXO Powers in the included Combo NEXO Power shield, then scan into the free LEGO® NEXO KNIGHTS™ MERLOK 2.0 app and bring your creation to life in the digital game.
Features five mystery NEXO Powers, each in a different color (red, green, blue, yellow and white), plus a Combo NEXO Power shield.
Scan the shields to create your own combination to defeat Monstrox and the Stone monsters in the LEGO® NEXO KNIGHTS™: Merlok 2.0 app.
Connect Combo NEXO Power shields together with the connecting elements and build your own unique structures.
