You’ll also find that Amazon has some sets in stock that are currently out of stock on the LEGO Shop as well as some retired ones.

In addition to the sales, there are also some Lightning Deals to keep an eye out for. Usually these deals are only for a limited time or until Amazon sells out of the particular product.
