Grogall on Brickset has revealed the high quality official images of three of the four 2014 LEGO The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug sets. The only set missing is the Dol Guldur Battle (79014). We’ll update this post when those are available.

LEGO City 2014 Set Images Revealed (Somewhat)

LEGO City 2014 System Sets

I’ve gotten a couple of emails from various readers that images of the 2014 LEGO City System sets as well as the Great Vehicles can be seen in the back of a revised PDF booklets of various current sets. A few of the System sets can be found in the back of the Excavator Transport City Mining (4203) instructions and the Great Vehicles can be found behind the Cargo Truck (60020). I first saw the image of the Great Vehicles on Eurobricks but haven’t had time to do a post until now. The images are a little blurry but you can still make out the sets.

Just2Good on Eurobricks has found images of one of the new 2014 LEGO Legends of Chima Speedorz sets on Kmart’s site, the Bat Strike (70137). We finally get to see what the new Bat minifigure looks like. Below is the description of the Bat Strike and official images of the set.

LEGO Archiecture Eiffel Tower

There is an image of the new LEGO Architecture Eiffel Tower in a PDF by Bon Marché. The set will include 321 pieces and will retail for €45. We did a post a couple of months ago that the set will be available January 2014. During the event, there will be a 40,000 piece replica of the Eiffel Tower displayed at Bon Marché Rive Gauche from December 2-14 and pre-orders of the set will be available on November 1st.

Our famous revealer of 2014 LEGO minifigures is back with another auction on eBay for some more LEGO Star Wars minifigures from various sets. We’ve already seen a few of them already but the two that we’re interested is the Obi-Wan Kenobi and the new Wookiee. Obi-Wan is a new variant and will be in the General Grievous Wheel Bike (75040). The new Wookiee minifigure is Chief Tarfful of Kachirho. He will be in the AT-AP (75043), which we first saw at SDCC 2013.

LEGO Star Wars 2014 General Grievous Clearer Image

LEGO Star Wars General Grievous (75040)

A few weeks ago, we posted an article showing off new images of the 2014 General Grievous minifigure from the General Grievous’ Wheel Bike (75040) set. The images there were decent but there is now a clearer image of him from a German seller on eBay. Here you can see the detailing on him which also includes his four lightsabers.

LEGO Technic Container Truck (42024) Image Revealed

An image of the new 2014 LEGO Technic Container Truck (42024) has been revealed in a PDF found on LEGO servers to promote the Power Functions. The Power Functions feature allows the truck to lift the container onto the back. There’s not much else detail for the Container Truck itself but at least we get to see an image of it.
