LEGO Seasonal Halloween 2016 Vampire Set Revealed

The LEGO Seasonal Easter Chick (40202) has started to show up at LEGO Brand Stores and on the back of the instructions, we get a sneak peek at the Halloween 2016 Seasonal set for 2016 which is a Vampire with a small bat. LEGO Star Wars: Chonicles of the Force

Last year, I reported on a new LEGO DK book coming out this year called LEGO Star Wars: Chronicles of the Force and now the final cover has been revealed as well as the exclusive minifigure that will be included which is The Force Awakens Unkar’s Brute. First LEGO Certified Store Opening in Italy This Summer

It looks like LEGO has expanded into Italy as there will be a new LEGO Certified Store opening there this summer. The store will be ran by Percassi House of Brands which has worked with other major name brands of products.

If you’re not familiar with what a LEGO Certified Store is, it’s basically a store owned and operated by a third party with an agreement with LEGO sort of like a franchise. You’ll mostly find these stores in countries where LEGO does not have their own stores in.

Ask Your Questions About LEGO Dimensions Midway Arcade Retro Gamer Level Pack (71235)

On March 15, LEGO Dimensions will be releasing a new expansion pack with the Midway Arcade Retro Gamer Level Pack (71235). This new pack will allow players to play 24 classic arcade favorites in full including Defender, Gauntlet, Joust, Rampage, and Spyhunter, just to name a few. Along with it, we also get the Gamer Kid LEGO minifigure as well as builds of the Arcade Machine and the Spy Hunter G-6155 Interceptor.

We here at The Brick Fan have been given an awesome opportunity to interview the Associate Producer at TT Games, Mark Warburton, about the Level Pack and you can also join in the interview as well. Do You Collect LEGO Movie Exclusive Minifigures?

It seems like every year, we get a LEGO straight-to-DVD movie that also comes with an exclusive minifigure of some sort. This trend first started back in 2011 with LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace which came with a Young Han Solo minifig. Soon after that, Warner Bro. Home Entertainment has been cracking out movies from various themes like DC Comics Super Heroes that also comes packed with a minifigure. Even live-action movies like the Hobbit trilogy joined in with their exclusives which you can see from the list below:

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey – Bilbo Baggins
LEGO Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Out – Darth Vader with Medal

It’s now 2016 and another LEGO movie will be releasing next week with LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Cosmic Clash which includes Cosmic Boy. A few months after that, the recently announced LEGO Scooby-Doo!: Haunted Hollywood will be coming out as well. I don’t expect WB to stop anytime soon as these movies do sell pretty well especially if it comes packed

LEGO Buccaneer Batman Revealed in Justice League: Cosmic Clash Movie?

LEGO Buccaneer Batman

The digital version of LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Cosmic Clash was released earlier this month and whoever purchased it got to watch the movie a little early than those who are waiting for the physical copy to be released next month.

In the movie, there’s a little sneak peek of Buccaneer Batman who is rumored to be the exclusive minifigure in the upcoming DK LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Character Encyclopedia. Although nothing is confirmed at this point, there are signs that it could be true even though Buccaneer Batman is a somewhat of an obscure variant of character from the 90’s Kenner Legends of Batman toy line.

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Character Encyclopedia will be released on April 5 so I suspect that we should be hearing something about maybe in March.

LEGO Scooby-Doo!: Haunted Hollywood Movie Revealed

LEGO Scooby-Doo: Haunted Hollywood

While I was at work today, I was informed that there will be a new LEGO Scooby-Doo movie that will coming out on May 3 called LEGO Scooby-Doo!: Haunted Hollywood. Like with many previous LEGO movies, it will also include an exclusive Scooby-Doo LEGO minifigure. From the looks of it, the minifigure has a slightly different face printing than what was released before. Check out a small blurb about LEGO Scooby-Doo!: Haunted Hollywood as well a trailer below.
