LEGO Ideas Projects Currently Under Development – April 2024 Update

It’s been a few months since our last update on the list of LEGO Ideas projects that are currently under development and here’s an quick look at what’s still coming. The newest LEGO Ideas set that is available right now is the Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale (21348).

No new Stage Winners have been announced since December with the Twilight: Cullen House and Botanical Gardens but there have been a few new gift with purchase sets added to the list. The Second 2023 Review Stage winner(s) will be announced in early 2024 which should be coming really soon.

LEGO Ideas LEGO Reptiles Achieves 10,000 Supporters

LEGO Reptiles by legotruman is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build features three different types of reptiles including the veiled chameleon, leopard gecko, and the box turtle.

LEGO Dungeons & Dragons Mimic Dice Box (5008325) Sold Out in US

The LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale (21348) seems to be one of the more popular releases for early April as the Mimic Dice Box (5008325) gift with purchase set seems to have sold out online for the US. The set was only available with the new Ideas set but it looks like LEGO didn’t produce too many of them as evident of the yellow box packaging. You can probably still find it at your local LEGO store but call to double check. The Flower Trellis Display (40683) is the only GWP still available here but other countries might still have both in stock.

LEGO April 2024 Sets Now Available – Dungeons & Dragons/Batman: The Animated Series

April is now here and LEGO has dropped a number of new sets on the LEGO Shop including the LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale (21348) and the LEGO Art Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City (76271).

The Flower Trellis Display (40683) is the main general gift with purchase set which runs from April 1-16 with purchases of $150, while supplies last. The second run of the GWP will be from May 27 – June 9.

The Mimic Dice Box (5008325) is also available but only when you purchase the Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale (21348). This one will run for a limited time from April 1-7, while supplies last.

The LEGO Icons Retro Food Truck (40681) makes a return with purchases of the Boutique Hotel (10297), Jazz Club (10312), or the Natural History Museum (10326).

In the Rewards Center, you will be able to get the LEGO Ninjago Micro Ninjago Docks (40704) using 2,700 points as well a physical copy of the LEGO Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale Adventure book for the same points value. You can still access the book for free on D&D Beyond.

LEGO Ideas Tales of the Space Age (21340) Amazon Sale – March 2024

Within the past week, Amazon has dropped the price of the LEGO Ideas Tales of the Space Age (21340) to the lowest it has been at with a 20% discount. The price of the set is now at $40 even and it saves you $10 on it. The set features four space-themed 3D panels that look like the old 80’s designs used for movie posters and books.

LEGO Ideas Ancient Egyptian Temple Achieves 10,000 Supporters

Ancient Egyptian Temple by GJC15344 is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 2,000 piece build features a gatehouse showing some of the more Egyptian figures such as Thoth, Osiris, and Anubis. The back shows some of the rooms you may have seen inside these temples.
