LEGO Trophy (40385) Revealed

There are now official images of a LEGO Trophy (40385) set that will be coming out soon. It has 200 pieces and the only build is the yellow trophy and stand. There are also a number of stickers included for various occasions. There’s no pricing on it at this time but I assume it’ll be $10 considering its piece count.

Manchester United Announces Product Partnership with LEGO

It looks like LEGO has partnered up with the Manchester United football team to release some new products next year. Details of the partnership are fairly vague but a spokesman from the team stated,

Our partnership with LEGO is a licensing agreement. More information on the partnership and some exciting new products will be released in the new year.

This is the second time that LEGO has struck a partnership with a football team with the first one being the DFB German National Team (71014) from 2016 which was only available in Europe unless you get it from the secondary market. I assume the LEGO Manchester United products will also be available in Europe initially and the rest of the world later on since LEGO won’t do regional exclusives anymore but we’ll see.

LEGO 32×32 White Baseplates Reportedly Coming in 2020

It’s been almost 15 years since we’ve gotten LEGO 32×32 white baseplates but it looks like we’ll be getting them again next year. Hoth Bricks is reporting that LEGO will be releasing one in 2020 under the LEGO Classic theme with the product number 11010 at a price point of $7.99 each. It will be joining the lineup of 32×32 baseplates which includes Green, Blue, and Gray. For those who are looking to create snowy landscapes, it looks like it’ll be easier next year using the new white baseplates and not using white elements on top of the regular colored ones.

LEGO Bean There, Donut That (40358) Target Sale – October 2019

Last year around this time, LEGO released the fairly obscure Target exclusive LEGO Bean There, Donut That (40358) and it was previously pretty hard to find. Target has since then put it online for purchase and now it has finally hit the clearance rack. The set is now 50% off the regular price of $14.99 so you’ll only be paying $7.50 and if you have a RedCard, you’ll get an additional 5% off. If there is inventory near you, you can also do local pickup at no extra charge. All four variants of the minifigures are exclusive to this set however the gray suit torso has only been in one other set while the white doctor torso has been in two other sets.

LEGO Baseplate Amazon Sales – October 2019

One of the limitations of growing your LEGO layout is space but if you are able to expand it, you might need some more baseplates. Luckily, Amazon is having some great sales on them. Both the Green and Blue baseplates are priced at $5.14 each. The Green is 49% off and the Blue is 36% off due to the Blue one being cheaper originally. If you’re using the Gray, that one is 20% off. At these sales, now is a great time to stock up on them if you can.

LEGO Toys R Us Bricktober 2019 Sets Revealed

Although there are no more Toys R Us stores in the US (not talking about the new ones), LEGO is still doing the popular Bricktober sets and the 2019 lineup has been revealed over on Brickfinder. There are four to collect and they feature miniature Asian scenes. They are also able to connect together using pins on the sides. These will be available in Hong Kong starting next week. I’m not sure if TRU Canada will be having these or not. Obviously, we here in the US will need to purchase them on the secondary market or have connections overseas.

LEGO Storage Bucket (5005630) Review

LEGO Storage Bucket (5005630)

The September 2019 LEGO Store Calendar shows a new promotion coming next week for the LEGO Storage Bucket (5005630) and we’ve gotten our hands on it a little early to show you guys if it is worth the purchase. It will be available on LEGO Shop@Home from September 23-28 with purchases of $100 or more, while supplies last.

As you may know, LEGO has been doing promotions for items that you can use everyday and their latest offering is for this storage bucket. It measures about 12 inches wide from the bottom side and about 10 inches tall. The material is pretty high quality and it retails for $25 over on their little known Carry Gear Solutions site. The bottom is made of a thicker plastic that wipes clean easily if it gets dirty. The outer part of it has four smaller pockets for addition storage room as well. Lastly, there are some handles to easily transport it around. When it’s not in use, it can collapse pretty small and can be tucked away somewhere.

LEGO Storage Bucket (5005630)

The obvious use for this LEGO Storage Bucket is for your loose LEGO parts and you can actually store a decent amount. The outer pockets are actually big enough to fit one of the smaller sized boxes. I personally don’t know what I’ll be using it for but some of you may already have some ideas. Is it worth a $100 purchase? I don’t think so but LEGO has some good new sets available that you can easily reach that mark.… Continue
