German toy retailer Spielwaren-Bludau has updated their website and and they now have the official images of the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Brainiac Attack (76040). This set was the last set to be revealed for the 2015 DC Super Heroes sets and will retail for $24.99. Brainiac Attack contains four minifigures: Brainic, Martian Manhunter, Superman, and Supergirl. Note that this version of Martian Manhunter is a little different than the 5002126 Polybag that was given out back in March.

Belt on the torso, gold buckle on the belt, no blue collar above the diagonal straps, no “M” symbol painted on the crotch… This is his classic costume, where the poly at version was apparently introduced shortly before New 52 and carried over. The head could be identical, but the rest of the parts are clearly different, with the plain blue legs on this version and the plain cape from the polybag being the only two parts that aren’t exclusive to the character.
25$? If that released earlier I would put that on my Christmas list! I love Brainiac’s ship, and the minifigs are cool. Good way to get heroes.
