LEGO Wicked Brickified Trailer Released

LEGO has released a Brickified version of the Wicked trailer and it does give a first official look at the minidolls of Elphaba and Glinda. The four sets that are supposed to be coming in October are still under wraps at this time so we don’t know if the items in the trailer are parts of the sets or not.

LEGO Wicked Elphaba and Glinda Minidoll Teaser

The LEGO Wicked theme was announced earlier today and the splash page for the theme is also live on the LEGO Shop. Here you can see a very detailed page with microbuilds of things we could be seeing larger versions of in the four sets but towards the bottom, we can also see a silhouette of the Elphaba and Glinda minidolls.

There have always been a fan divide between those who prefer getting sets with minifigures or sets with minidolls. We’ll just have to see what the sets look like before judgement should be made just because the sets have minidolls. Maybe the sets will wow everyone and fans will overlook the inclusion of them.

LEGO Wicked Theme Officially Announced

LEGO has officially announced there will be four new LEGO Wicked sets coming this October. The sets will be based on the upcoming November musical film and will feature mini-doll characters of at least Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) and Glinda (Ariana Grande). The full reveal of the LEGO Wicked sets will be coming later this year, perhaps in July during San Diego Comic Con 2024? We shall see but in the meantime, check out the teaser video below.

The ‘popular’ musical phenomenon, Wicked, becomes a two-part gravity-defying cinematic event with the first film arriving in theatres on November 27th and the second coming in Fall 2025. LEGO Group will introduce four sets inspired by the first film that will allow fans to delve deeper into some of the most iconic scenes straight out of Oz and explore core themes, characters, and songs from the upcoming film.

Wicked, the untold story of the witches of Oz, stars Emmy, Grammy and Tony winning powerhouse Cynthia Erivo (Harriet, Broadway’s The Color Purple) as Elphaba, a defiant social outcast who has yet to discover her true power, and Grammy-winning, multi-platinum recording artist and global superstar Ariana Grande (Hairspray Live!, Don’t Look Up), as Glinda, a popular young
