Back in December, LEGO post some pictures on Facebook of a life-size Bag End made completely out of LEGO. LEGO has released a short documentary on how they came up with the design and all the work the employees put in to complete the Bag End. The life-size build was based off the An Unexpected Gathering (79003) set and was blown up 20 times the size of the original set. The minifigures, however, were blown up 24 times. The dimensions are 17 feet wide by 10 feet deep 7 1/2 feet tall. It stated that it took 12 model shop employees to complete but sometimes went up to 15 or 16 people and took about 3000 hours to build it. Pete Donner states that the design on the computer said there were at least 2.5 million 1×1 bricks. Check out the video below to see this amazing build.
