The AFOL Poster Subscription Service Releases New June Artwork

Interested in LEGO Art? The AFOL Poster Subscription Service from Bricks on the Dollar has begun its mission to bring you original LEGO Artwork every month with their second release, 483 Alpha One Rocket Base by Dave Perillo.

Every month a new artist will create distinctly LEGO-themed art in their own style. 11”x17” posters are available from the AFOL Poster Service website. Posters are tube-shipped to their recipients. For only $10 per month you will get the newest poster tube-shipped to you on the 1st of each month. Subscribers also get a short bio about the artist and the artwork as well as an official LEGO Minifigure from the depicted theme! If you want to pick and choose, the posters will be individually available on the 15th of each month for $13 shipped.

Check out the posters which are available right now. A new poster will be available each month while supplies last. Upcoming themes include Bionicle, Space, & perhaps Classic Castle. Pick up your favorites or sign up for the subscription to never miss a poster!

Now this one is pretty nice. Very classic.

Thank you. This artist is going to do another piece for me in the Fall. I’d like some feedback on this one. I have seen a lot more order for this one than any of the others and I want to know if it is the style, the subject matter (Classic Space), or both.

I can’t say why other people like it, but Classic Space is a very popular theme that people seem to remember fondly. It’s also really obvious that the guy is a minifig to me, which probably helps people connect better to it. It’s iconic and easy to recognize. It’s also clean, and because of being uncrowded, is easy to notice at a glance what it is, which reminds me of an advertisement poster for a vacation destination or something.

The Metro Liner and Rock Raiders posters share similar competency with being clean and easy to pick up without having to decipher the poster and its theme.
