A day after the current run of promotions, LEGO will be doing a one day LEGO Insiders Day shopping event on August 11. Just for one day, there will be a special promotion going on that says one day, one promotion. We don’t know if it’ll be another gift with purchase set aside from the Restaurants of the World: Greece (40908) which also starts on the same day or if it’ll be discounted sets.
LEGO has recently released the largest ever LEGO The Lord of the Rings set with Minas Tirith (11377). It comes in at a whopping 8,278 pieces and retails for $649.99 which is also the most expensive LotR set. Will the set live up to the high price and anticipation?
We’re back with another update for the LEGO Idea Second 2026 Review Stage and it’s been a busy week since our last update. There were 7 new projects that have qualified for a chance to become an official LEGO Ideas set and the total count is now up to 68 for the period.
LEGO has released the official trailer for LEGO Ninjago: Dragons Rising Season 4 Part 2 which will be airing in September. This trailer was first seen at San Diego Comic Con 2026 a few weeks ago and it gave us a look at what we can be expecting in the penultimate season of Dragons Rising. If you followed our news from SDCC, this will be the second to last season as LEGO Ninjago Dragons Rising will be ending in 2027 with Dragons Fury.
The LEGO Ideas The X-Files: Scully’s Lab (40896) gift with purchase promotion went on for a bit but it has officially gone out of stock on the LEGO Shop. It did fairly well considering the LEGO Ideas The X-Files (21369) has been on backorder status for a few days now. The US was also the last major country to sell out of the set as many other countries sold out days ago.
If you did miss out on it, you don’t have to worry about going to the secondary market just yet. The Disney Store is also currently having the promotion for the GWP. You’ll need a $130 of any item, not just LEGO, and use the code ACCESS at checkout to add it to your cart. A Disney Store account is needed and the promo will end on August 11, while supplies last.
Amazon currently has a sale on the LEGO Transformers Soundwave (10358) for 14% off. This is the best price that we’ve seen since its release last year and you can save $26 on it. Soundwave is the third Transformers set that LEGO has released and the first Decepticon in the line.

LEGO has officially revealed the next set in the LEGO Restaurants of the World line with Restaurants of the World: Greece (40908). The set has 254 pieces and will be available starting on August 11 with purchases of $180 or more, while supplies last. This is the third gift with purchase set in the line and it features a taverna (tabepna) on the island of Greece.
