Today marks ten years since Doc and Marty traveled to the future in Back to the Future Part II and over the years LEGO has released a few sets based on the movies.
2013 – LEGO CUUSOO The DeLorean Time Machine (21103)
The OG Back to the Future set was conceived back in 2012 when the project reached 10,000 supporters on LEGO CUUSOO and it was announced as a set in December 2012. The set was fairly clunky but it was able to change into three different versions from the movies. I still have a few copies of the set including one signed by the designer Masashi Togami and Cludia Wells at San Diego Comic Con.

2015 – LEGO Dimensions Back to the Future Level Pack (71201)
When the LEGO Dimensions video game was still in its prime, they released a ton of add-on packs from various licensed franchises and Back to the Future was one of them. This one included a mini DeLorean, the Hoverboard and a Marty minifigure.

2016 – LEGO Dimensions Doc Brown Fun Pack (71230)
The next year, LEGO released more packs for LEGO Dimensions and it had Doc Brown’s Traveling Time Train as well as his minifigure to use in game.

2018 – LEGO BrickHeadz Marty McFly & Doc Brown (41611)
The franchises took a short hiatus and came back a few years later with the Marty and Doc BrickHeadz.

2022 – LEGO Icons Back to the Future Time Machine (10300)
It didn’t take that long for LEGO for produce a UCS style set for the DeLorean and it boy was it a beauty. As with the LEGO CUUSOO set, you could have it displayed in one of the three versions of the car and it included exclusive minifigures of Marty and Doc. It did get discounted a lot before it finally retired.

2026 – LEGO Speed Champions Time Machine from Back to the Future (77256)
Announced just last week, Back to the Future returns in 2026 with the new LEGO Speed Champions DeLorean. The set is part of the line of movie cars that the Speed Champions theme has been producing the past few years and the DeLorean is the latest addition. For this one, you can only have it as the regular car or the flying version. You can now pre-order the set today.
