San Diego Comic Con 2016 will be kicking off very soon and there are plenty of LEGO-related things to do at the event. As part of the press, we’ve been invited to attend a roundtable session with some of the developers of TT Games including Game Directors James Mcloughlin and Arthur Parsons as well as some unannounced voice talents to discuss the new Year 2 content for LEGO Dimensions before their panel.

Please keep the questions strictly to what has been already announced and not to future LEGO themes or minifigures because they will most likely give a suggestive response.

Will previous franchises come out with more content (packs) such as Jurassic World, Wizard of Oz, and Scooby Doo?
I Really hope the Jurassic Park/world expands as I desperately need a Jeff Goldblum Ian Malcom minifigure.
For the Harry Potter team pack why did you chose Harry to go with Voldemort? ( They are not technically a team “at the end one must kill the other” )
Will there be a chance for a NBC’s Parks and Recreation to have some presence in the game? (Leslie level pack, Ron Fun pack, April and Andy team pack PLEASE FOR YEAR 3)

How was it like deciding upon the themes and what was your intention, including many classic T.V shows and Movies in the fray? (For example, was it by chance to make the gaming experience more enjoyable for the older players, to introduce younger audiences to theses franchises, etc)
with all the new franchises included in year 2 does that mean we will have 16 new adventure worlds it would be insane to have a beetlejuice world
This is what I really want to know too. Adventure worlds for the new franchises would be awesome!
Are there any plans to extend the 3+ player compatibility beyond the Battle Mode and into level/freeroam gameplay?
Why the A-Team? It seems random and a bit dated (I’m stoked though!).
Is the poster caption “You’re gonna need a bigger imagination” a reference to Jaws’ line “We’re gonna need a bigger boat”? Is this a possible hint towards Jaws?
How much thinking and idea meetings go through the process to decide what to include in year 2? From a more software standpoint, how complicated was it to design the toy pad?
Will the new Ghostbusters’ world be separate or combined with the current Ghostbusters world?
With all the new characters and settings, will there be new character abilities (i.e. cutting vines, breaking glass, using computers) ?
Will vehicles be allowed to be used when in battle arenas…or can you just use your minifigues?

Where is sonic
For charecters that unlock multiple people (i.e. Sloth, the new ghostbusters) will it be like Venkmen and the Doctor to change, or, like what was shown in the E3 Ghostbusters level. In the level, you could cahange from Abby to Holtzman, and they were both on the screen, as opposed to the Ghostbusters level pack, where they were there, but you had to turn venkmen into them.
Will Lego Dimensions ever be available to buy has a download for Xbox One or PlayStation 4?
No. You need the Toy Pad, and that requires the physical content.
It is still a possibility though. Disney Infinity 3.0 was available to download digitally by itself.
Yeah, and they messed up badly with that game.
That’s besides the point. The game’s success and contents have nothing to do with whether or not it is available for digital download. The same is true for Lego Dimensions.

Are there more character yet to be announced for Ghostbusters 2016 or Harry Potter?
Will the Powerpuff Girls be based on the reboot or the original and what kind of packs/characters can we expect?
At the end of the story mode of the original Dimensions game, we get a cut scene that seems to hint at a further story. Will we be getting a continuation of the campaign/story mode, or are these Year 2 packs simply just more adventure worlds and level packs?
How do feel on expanding on buildable characters like unikitty
with adventure time, teen titans go, and power puff girls, is there a possibility of more cartoon network levels and fun packs, i.e. steven universe, and is the rumor of marvel and star wars true?
Will there be regular gameplay levels added for Batman Wyldstyle and Gandalf?
Why there is no PC version for LEGO Dimensions? (I can deduce it has something to do with hacking the game, but I want to know the “official” response) ¿Any chance to see a PC version in the future?
Considering that upcoming movies will be released as Story packs within Dimensions, ¿does that mean there won’t be new Traveller’s Tales games released on PC/Steam in the future?
Will you be releasing a collection poster like with the starter set that showed all the upcoming sets so you can check them off/show people your wishlist? And when are we going to see the ghost with the most????
Since event-exclusives alienate two parts of their market: completionists (who will stop buying every Dimensions pack when they realize that some characters were not available to them) and an IP’s superfans (who are genuinely upset that they can’t use a character as part of their standard team as they explore worlds–when they know that other people have it), what is the positive benefit of event exclusives that outweigh the bridges they’re burning with two parts of their fanbase? Limited-Time exclusives and store-exclusives would not have these problems, but event-exclusives seem like a disaster. LD’s challenges should be IN the game–not obtaining the figures you want to buy!
In a recent interview, they mentioned that event exclusives would eventually be available in Hire-A-Hero for fans who couldn’t get to an event. Since fans of an IP usually make the character a part of their regular team, how does this help? A child who loves a character wants to play as that character for hours a day, for days at a time–not for seconds. Will Hire-A-Hero be changed so that a character can be bought and made a
permanent part of the team to explore a world? Will a hired hero be able to be
used with keystones to solve puzzles that require moving a character to
a different part of the toypad?
