LEGO Braille Bricks – Play with Braille (40656) Now Available on LEGO Shop

Back in 2020, LEGO officially launched LEGO Braille Bricks which was produced to help visually impaired children learn Braille and today, they announced that they are now available for purchase on the LEGO Shop. Due to popular demand and overwhelming response to the original launch, LEGO Braille Bricks – Play with Braille (40656) will officially be released on September 1 and you can pre-order it today for $89.99.

The set has 287 pieces coming in five colous: white, yellow, green, red and blue. All bricks are fully compatible with other LEGO products and the studs on each brick are arranged to correspond to the numbers and letters in the braille system, with the printed version of the symbol or letter situated below the studs.

BrickLink Designer Program Series 2 Finalists Revealed

BrickLink has announced the finalists of the Series 2 BrickLink Designer Program in which fans voted for projects that they want to see produced. These five designs will go to crowdfunding in June 2024.

LEGO Announces Location of Boston Headquarters

Earlier this year, LEGO announced that they will be moving their North American headquarters to Boston in 2026 and they have just revealed the location of where it will be. The new headquarters will be located at 1001 Boylston Street which is just a short ways from downtown Boston and only a few minutes walk to Fenway Park.

The office space will spread out over five floors in more than 100,000 square feet with innovation and design being a central focus. In turn, there will be enough space for both collaborative work as well areas for individual work zones.

All of the Enfield employees will have a position at the new office and will get relocation assistance if they wish to move. The move will begin in 2025 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

LEGO Insiders Officially Launches – Treasure Hunt Announced

Today LEGO has officially launched LEGO Insiders which is the rebranding of the old LEGO VIP Program. If you haven’t heard about it, you can read more about it here but essentially, it’s basically the same thing as before but you have more ways to earn points. All of your existing points have been rolled over to LEGO Insiders you can still use them for discounts, collectibles, sweepstakes, and more.

To celebrate the launch of LEGO Insiders, LEGO has also kicked off a Treasure Hunt in which you have a chance to win 1 million points in addition to other prizes as well. From nonw until October 2, all you have to do is use the app to scan LEGO bricks to find a golden LEGO brick and reveal a prize. There’s a very slim chance to to be one of six winners of the million point prize or you can get instant digital downloads and more.

LEGO Announces LEGO Insiders – New Program Replacing VIP Program

LEGO has announced a new program launching on August 21 called LEGO Insiders replaces the existing LEGO VIP Program and rewards you for playing. You can consolidate your LEGO accounts into one single account and everything will transfer over to LEGO Insiders, including VIP points. Your existing points are not going away. They will be rolled over to the new program.

Fans can earn points by participating in activities, purchasing sets on LEGO.com, in participating LEGO Stores, and in Target in the USA. Members can now also earn points by registering previously purchased sets via the unique QR code on the building instructions and cataloguing them on their account.

Points can be spent in the LEGO Insiders Reward Center for discounts on sets, member-only merchandise, sweepstakes entries (in select countries) for cool collectibles, and more.

Some of the perks include early access to sets, exclusive content, digital family fun, play ideas and activities as well as member only gifts when purchasing certain sets.

All in all, it’s pretty much the same as the LEGO VIP Program but with easier ways to earn points.

LEGO Bricktober 2022 Fantasy Adventure Ride (5007489) to Release August 16

Back in July, LEGO was supposed to release the last Bricktober 2022 sets on the Rewards Center which was the Fantasy Adventure Ride (5007489) but was ultimately delayed until August. LEGO has just announced that it will finally be released on Wednesday, August 16. There was no time given at this time so I suggest checking right at midnight.
