Happy New Year 2023! LEGO has just released over 100 new sets that are now available for purchase on the LEGO Shop. There are a few promotions going on at the beginning of the month including the LEGO Blacktron Cruiser (40580) with purchases of $190/€190/£170. 2023 is just mere hours away and with that, there are over 100 new LEGO sets that will be available on the LEGO Shop. Here’s a quick guide on what you can expect to see online and in stores.

First off, let’s check out the promotional items that you can get with your purchases. The main one is the LEGO Blacktron Cruiser (40580) with purchases of $190/€190/£170. The promo will run from January 1-14, while supplies last.

The Year of the Rabbit (40575) is the latest addition to the Chinese Zodiac sets and that promo will run from January 15-25 with purchases of $85/€85/£80.

Like with the previous VIP Add-On Packs, the LEGO Lunar New Year VIP Add-On Pack (40605) will be free with purchases of $50.

LEGO has officially revealed five new sets based on the upcoming Avatar: The Way of Water movie. The launch date is listed for January 2023 for the sets but you can pre-order of them right now.

LEGO has given a first look at what appears to be a new minifigure for Avatar: The Way of Water. In the few second clip, it shows the face of Sigourney Weaver’s Kiri with an underwater reflection. The LEGO Avatar: The Way of Water sets are set to be released in January 2023 so we should start seeing pictures of them in the near future.

There a quite a few larger sets that will be dropping but there are also some medium sized ones that are based on Avatar as well as the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movies.
