Upcoming Scholastic KLUTZ LEGO Books

The folks over at Scholastic KLUTZ has sent over a press release of some of their latest LEGO titles including LEGO Ninjago: How to Draw Ninja, Villains, and More!. We will be reviewing these books once we receive them but in the meantime, check out details of the books below.

Tips for Kids: Transformers: Cool Projects for Your LEGO Bricks

If you’re a fan of Transformers, epecially the G1 cartoon series, there’s a new book coming from Joachim Klang and Alexander Jones, aka Orion Pax which gives you instructions on how to build your own from LEGO bricks. Tips for Kids: Transformers: Cool Projects for Your LEGO Bricks is a 208 page book that gives you tips and ideas for building Transformers out of LEGO. Some characters shown on the cover are Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Soundwave. Whether or not they will be included in the building instructions remains to be seen. LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Build Your Own Adventure Includes John Stewart Green Lantern

A few months ago, I reported that there will be a new John Stewart Green Lantern minifigure but was not sure what it will be included in. It looks like there’s confirmation that it will be the exclusive minifigure in the upcoming DK LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Build Your Own Adventure book. This was first found over at BricksFans but it looks like they’ve taken down the post.

This will be the third Green Lantern to become an official LEGO minifigure with the first one being Hal Jordan as a 2012 SDCC exclusive and the other in the Green Lantern vs. Sinestro (76025).

You can now pre-order the book on Amazon and it has a tentative release date of August 1 for the release.

The LEGO Batman Movie: The Making of the Movie Book Giveaway

The LEGO Batman Movie: The Making of the Movie is now available and DK has sent over a copy of the book. I already purchased my own copy from Amazon and I’ll be doing a review on it probably in the next week or so to give people some time to watch the movie if they haven’t yet since there are spoilers.
