June is coming up fast and for here in the US, we have a lot of new LEGO summer 2024 sets to look forward to. We don’t get the full lineup of sets like with UK and Europe since we have different marketing strategies but there’s still plenty to keep us busy until the August wave. Here’s a quick guide showcasing what we can expect to see on store shelves and online soon.

LEGO Disney Young Simba the Lion King (43247) Pre-Order on LEGO Shop

We already saw a preview of it earlier this week but now the LEGO Disney Young Simba the Lion King (43247) is now available for pre-order on the LEGO Shop. The 1,445 piece set will release on June 1 for a price of $129.99. It does qualify for the LEGO Alien Space Diner (40687) if you’re still looking for something to get for the GWP.

LEGO Disney Simba the Lion King (43247) Revealed

Earlier this month, we saw the reveals of the summer 2024 LEGO Disney sets which included Simba the Lion King Cub (43243) but there’s also a grown-up version of the set coming soon with Simba the Lion King (43247). Online retailer fnac has posted a product listing for the 1,445 piece set which shows the 18+ set. It is listed as a June 1 release which is the same day as the LEGO Ideas Tuxedo Cat (21349) so cat lovers will have a field day with these releases.

LEGO Mini Disney Sleeping Beauty Castle (40720) Revealed

If you’ve been collecting the various LEGO Disney mini builds, there’s another one coming in June with the Mini Disney Sleeping Beauty Castle (40720). The set has 528 pieces and will retail for $39.99. It features a miniature version of the Sleeping Beauty Castle from Disneyland and also includes a minifigure as well.
