LEGO Fortnite Cuddle Team Leader Minifigure Revealed

Tomorrow is the reveal for the Fortnite The Big Bang and LEGO Japan has revealed a sneak peek of the Cuddle Team Leader minifigure. It joins the Supply Llama as the LEGO versions of Fortnite characters with many more to come. The official announcement will be tomorrow at 11am PT/2pm ET which will be showing off the Season 5 content including LEGO’s collaboration with Epic Games.

LEGO x Epic Games Account Connection Now Available

In preparation of the LEGO x Epic Games Fortnite The Big Bang announcement this Friday, you now have the option to use your LEGO Insiders account to sign into your Epic Games account. After doing the initial connection, you’ll be able to log in to your main Epic Games account and both accounts will be linked together.

The official announcement of the Fortnite The Big Bang will be on December 2 at 2pm ET/11am PT. LEGO has already teased the Supply Llama in LEGO form and it’s been rumored that a number of Fortnite skins will be turned into LEGO minifigure skins in-game.

LEGO Fortnite Supply Llama Teaser

LEGO has officially teased their content partnership with Epic Games by showing a brick-built Fortnite Supply Llama on their social channels. Rumor still has it that there will be LEGO collaboration in game and according to certification records, there’s a small Supply Llama set with set number 5008257. Other than those pieces of information, we don’t have any details on when it will be happening but it should be soon.

LEGO Fortnite Llama (5008257) Revealed in Product Certification?

Ever since LEGO announced they have entered into a partnership with Epic Games, fans have wondered if we would ever be getting any LEGO Fortnite sets and it looks like we may be getting something in the near future. Over on the LEGO Certification page, there’s an entry for set number 5008257 which is for a Llama. If you’ve played Fortnite before, it does have a very similar look to the Supply Llama that spawns at random locations on the map. It looks small enough to assume that it could be either a polybag or a Make & Take set. There’s no word yet on when it will be released.

Epic Games Subtly Confirms LEGO x Fortnite (Juno) Collaboration

Epic Games today announced a round of layoffs of Epic employees and in their press release, it was subtly confirmed that the LEGO x Fortnite crossover does exist. It has long been rumored that there will be a LEGO Fortnite expansion codenamed Juno ever since LEGO entered into a long-term partnership with the gaming company. There’s still no official date on when the LEGO Fortnite collab will be released but it’s reported to be in November.

LEGO x Fortnite Teaser in New Play Unstoppable Video?

A couple hours ago, LEGO posted a video online for their Play Unstoppable campaign featuring Loserfruit. If you’re not familiar with Loserfruit, she’s a popular online gamer who mainly focuses on Fortnite. This collaboration could be a teaser to another upcoming campaign for LEGO Fortnite.

If you haven’t heard about it the past few months, it’s been highly rumored that there will be a LEGO x Fortnite crossover coming soon. Last year, LEGO entered into a long-term partnership with Epic Games to provide a safe place in for kids in the metaverse. It was said that the two companies will build an immersive, creatively inspiring digial experience for kids. Within the past few months, details of the crossover were leaked online. I don’t play Fortnite at all so I’m not sure how credible the rumors are.

KIRKBI Invests $1 Billion to Epic Games

Last week, LEGO announced a long-term partnership with Fortnite creators, Epic Games, to provide a safe and fun place in the metaverse for kids. Today, Epic Games announced a $2 billion round of funding to advance the company’s vision to build the metaverse and support its continued growth. KIRKBI, the family-owned holding company of The LEGO Group, along with Sony has invested $1 billion to the funding to create new social entertainment exploring the connection between digital and physical worlds.

KIRKBI CEO Søren Thorup Sørensen stated, “Epic Games is known for building playful and creative experiences and empowering creators large and small. A proportion of our investments is focused on trends we believe will impact the future world that we and our children will live in. This investment will accelerate our engagement in the world of digital play, and we are pleased to be investing in Epic Games to support their continued growth journey, with a long-term focus toward the future metaverse.”
