LEGO Dimensions Expansion Packs Found at 99 Cents Only Stores

A few readers has informed me that 99 Cents Only Stores have started selling various LEGO Dimensions Fun Packs for only $0.99 each. This has also been confirmed by users on Reddit. Your mileage may vary as to what they are carrying but it looks like it’s some of the older LEGO Dimensions Fun Packs as well as some Team Packs and Level Packs. Even if you’re aren’t into LEGO Dimensions, you can’t deny that this is a great deal even if it’s just for the parts and minifigures.

LEGO Dimensions to be Included in February Loot Crate Box

LEGO Dimensions Loot Crate

The February theme for Loot Crate has been revealed and it looks like there will be some sort of exclusive LEGO Dimensions item that will be included in the box. If you’re not familiar with Loot Crate, it is a curated subscription box which you can get 4-6 licensed items which are exclusive for the company that usually add up to $45 or more in retail value.

As I mentioned before, February will be a Build theme that “celebrate some of pop culture’s most “put together” franchises with this hands-on theme.” Some of the other items that will be featured include Batman, Power Rangers, LEGO Dimensions, and Tetris. Loot Crate boxes usually include a variety of items including a t-shirt so there’s no telling what the LEGO Dimensions item will be.

Loot Crate boxes start at $21.99/month for a one month subscription plus shipping so if you do decide to get a box just for the LEGO Dimensions item, this would be the best way to go unless you already have a subscription already or you want a longer term. Just be sure to manually cancel your subscription or else it will automatically renew. You have until February 19 to put your order in and it will ship between February 20-28.

Thanks to Tyler for the heads up.

LEGO City: Undercover Nintendo Switch Includes Two Player Co-Op & Secret Nintendo Cameos

LEGO City: Undercover

Nintendo has put out the product page for LEGO City: Undercover for the Switch and there are some new details about the game. As reported before, this remastered version is not exactly a straight port and there is new information about it that supports the claim.

If you look at the game details, it states that it will now have two player co-op which is what fans wanted from the first game. It does not say online co-op so we’ll still have to see about that. That also takes us to the gameplay since, it doesn’t say if the co-op is in the Story Mode or in Free Roam. If it’s in the Story Mode, there might be changes to the game play since you don’t want both players doing the same puzzles.

At the very bottom of the product overview section, you can see that it states there will be secret Nintendo cameos for this version of LEGO City: Undercover. There were Nintendo cameos in the original game but hopefully we’ll see something different. Fans would definitely want to see minifigure characters but we’ll see if that happens or not.

There’s no word yet on the release date of LEGO City: Undercover although Amazon has it listed as April 30 but that could just be a placeholder. LEGO City: Undercover will also be released on PlayStation 4, XBox One, and on Steam.

LEGO City: Undercover (2017) Official Trailer

LEGO City: Undercover

WB Games has released the official trailer for the upcoming LEGO City: Undercover. The trailer reintroduces Chase McCain along with an amazing soundtrack that’s very Grand Theft Auto like. The game was first released exclusively on the Nintendo Wii U but this remastered version will be on the PlayStation 4, XBox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.

If you haven’t played LEGO City: Undercover before, it’s an open-world adventure that lets you control Chase McCain to hunt down criminals in a LEGO version of GTA. There are rumors that this version is more than just a straight port over and will have updates to it from the previous one. There’s no release date mentioned but it is stated that it will be released in the spring.

Join the Chase! This first official trailer for LEGO CITY Undercover introduces Chase McCain, a police officer who goes undercover and dons multiple disguises to hunt down the notorious – and recently escaped – criminal, Rex Fury, to put an end to his city-wide crime wave.

This open-world LEGO adventure allows fans and newcomers to explore the sprawling metropolis that is LEGO® CITY , with more than 20 unique districts to investigate, filled with car thieves to bust, vehicles to navigate, mischievous aliens to capture, hilarious movie references to discover, lost pigs to rescue and of course, hundreds of collectibles. Bringing together witty, original storytelling with signature LEGO humor, this open-world LEGO adventure creates a fun-filled experience for players of all ages.
