LEGO Dimensions Adventure Time Marceline Fun Pack (71285) Widespread Issues

LEGO Dimensions Adventure Time Marceline Fun Pack (71285)

If you purchased the LEGO Dimensions Adventure Time Marceline Fun Pack (71285) from Toys R Us and intend to use her in the game, you may want to return it or contact LEGO Dimensions Support as there has been reports of widespread issues with the NFC chip. Basically, the tags for Marceline herself are coming up empty and it contains no data for the system to detect. I’m hearing that this issue is only affecting North America and the ones in the UK seem to be fine.

As far as I know, TT Games has not acknowledged the issue publicly but Toys R Us has issued a stop sale on the Fun Packs and has started pulling them from the floor. The link for the TRU product page has also been taken down. If you see them available for purchase, I suggest don’t buy it until the issue is fixed. For those who just collect the minifigures and have no interest in playing the LEGO Dimensions itself, that doesn’t really matter but for those who do, I suggest contacting support in the link above to see about getting a replacement tag.

LEGO City: Undercover Coming to PS4, XBox One, Nintendo Switch, PC in 2017

LEGO City: Undercover

WB Games has announced that LEGO City: Undercover will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC/Steam in Spring 2017. If you remember, LEGO City: Undercover lets you take control of Chase McCain in sort of a toned down Grand Theft Auto-style game that was released for the Nintendo Wii U back in 2013.

If you’re a LEGO City collector, there was a Chase McCain Minifigure Polybag (5000281) that was released with pre-orders of the game and he was eventually released in the High Speed Chase (60007) and will be coming back again in 2017 with the High-Speed Chase (60138).

Red Dwarf Area Found in LEGO Dimensions

Here’s something interesting coming out of Twitter earlier today. LEGO Dimensions designer/writer Joe Moore tweeted out an image of the Red Dwarf area which was found in the Fantastic Beasts Story Pack (71253). As we know, Red Dwarf isn’t an official LEGO license yet, as far was we know, however there was a Red Dwarf project that just hit 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas just last week.

Does this actually we’ll be getting a Red Dwarf expansion pack in the future? Not necessarily. If you remember from last year, there were stages that included the Jetsons and Flintstones but there weren’t any physical sets that came out of that so this could just be an easter egg like the previous ones.

LEGO Dimensions Hermoine Fun Pack Includes Hippogriff

In a recent interview with MuggleNet, Arthur Parsons gave some new information on what will be coming in the SDCC confirmed LEGO Dimensions Hermoine Fun Pack. According to Arthur, the build that will come with the Fun Pack is a brick-built Hippogriff which can be rebuilt into two other creatures. One of the rebuild is an Owl and the other is possibly Hermoine’s cat, Crookshanks but that is not confirmed.

There’s no word on release date yet but it’ll most likely be next year in Wave 7.5 or Wave 8. Head on over to Mugglenet in the link above to hear their interview with Arthur.

Thanks to Jeremy B. for the heads up.
