LEGO Minecraft The Crafting Table (21265) Revealed

After many years of the theme, LEGO Minecraft will finally have an 18+ set with The Crafting Table (21265). Revealed on JB Spielwaren, the set wil be released on August 1 and will have 1,195 pieces and is reported to retail for $89.99. The set celebrates the 15th anniversary of Minecraft and it features a cutout of the crafting table which shows a miniature biome along with different signs you can put on. It is made to look similar to the original LEGO Minecraft Micro World (21102).

Celebrate Minecraft® creativity with this LEGO® building set for adults designed for the 15th anniversary of the popular video game. Included within LEGO Minecraft The Crafting Table (21265) are familiar biomes, favorite mobs and hidden Easter eggs for adult fans of the game to discover and display.

The set recreates the game’s iconic crafting table. Inside are 5 mini build modules featuring 12 Minecraft biomes, including the Taiga with a dripstone cave, Plains with a village, Ice Spikes with an igloo, Cherry Grove with an abandoned mineshaft, and the Deep Dark with a lush cave. 8 microfigures are also included: Steve, Alex, a skeleton, witch, Creeper™, villager, cow and pig. The mini builds and microfigures detach from the main model toenable a variety of display possibilities. Stickers featuring memorable in-game phrases can be added to the front of the Minecraft model. June is now here and for the US, we have a lot of new LEGO summer 2024 sets that are now available for purchase on the LEGO Shop. We don’t get the full lineup of sets like with UK and Europe since we have different marketing strategies but there’s still plenty to keep us busy until the August wave. Pre-orders for the highly popular LEGO The Legend of Zelda Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 (77092) is now sold out as of this morning and you’ll have to wait until the September 1 release date to buy it now. LEGO more recently has been setting aside inventory and letting fans do pre-orders for sets they think will be popular and this one was no surprise, even at the $300 price point.

Fans have been waiting for The Legend of Zelda sets for many years now, even back during the LEGO CUUSOO days, and the Great Deku will be the first, of hopefully, many more sets for the theme. I wouldn’t be too shocked if the set will go to backorder status a day or two after its release in a few months.

Formula One Pays Tribute to Ayrton Senna at Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix 2024

This weekend at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix 2024, F1 celebrates the life of Ayrton Senna who tragically lost his life at the Imola Circuit 30 years ago. Max Verstappen yesterday tied Senna’s record of eight consecutive pole positions which had stood since 1989. Sebastian Vettel also took the 1993 McLaren MP4/8 around for a lap at Imola to remember the racing legend which you can watch here.

Earlier this year, LEGO has already paid tribute to Senna by releasing a LEGO Icons set of the McLaren MP4/4 & Ayrton Senna (10330) which features the car that Senna used his first world title. You can read my review of the set here.

LEGO has officially revealed the next LEGO Lord of the Rings set with the Icons 5,471 piece Barad-Dur (10333). Releasing on June 1, the set will retail for $459.99 and from June 1-7, while supplies last, you can also get the 269 piece Fell Beast (40693) set as a gift with purchase which includes a Nazgul minifigure.
