LEGO January 2026 Shopping Guide

January 2026 is only a few weeks away and the month is one of the biggest LEGO release months of the year. We have over 150 new LEGO 2026 sets that will all be dropping at the same time. LEGO Ideas December 18 Update – Just in Time for Christmas

LEGO Ideas December 15 Update

It’s been a week and a half since our last LEGO Ideas update and a few more projects have been added to the list of ones that have reached the Third 2025 Review Stage. Compared to the last round, it seems to have slowed down a lot as we’re only up to 47 projects that have hit the 10,000 supporter goal.

LEGO Retiring Soon List – Updated December 2025

The LEGO Retiring Soon has once again been updated for December and there are now less than 90 items on the list. Most of the original list has been sold out but you may be able to find them at other retailers. As of this post, LEGO has the double Insiders points event going on until December 14 so now is a great time to pick up some last minute items before they go away at the end of the year.

LEGO Icons Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D (10356) Available as Backorder Status

If you missed out on the LEGO Icons Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D (10356) during Black Friday, it is now available again on the LEGO Shop but on backorder status. You won’t be able to get the Type-15 Shuttlepod (40768) companion set but it does qualify you for the Winter Gazebo (40778) and the Micro Ninjago Docks (40704) gift with purchase sets. If you’re wanting to get it as a Christmas gift, you won’t be able to get it by then as the Standard Shipping cutoff date is December 18 and the set will ship by December 21.

LEGO Ideas Love Birds (21365) Officially Announced

A new LEGO Ideas 2026 set has been officially revealed with the Love Birds (21365). Releasing on January 1 (pre-order today), the set has 750 pieces and will retail for $49.99. The Love Birds was originally from the Build from the Heart Valentine’s Day building contest last September and was announced as the winner back in February. The build pretty much stays true to the original submission with slight updates to the two birds and the tree.
