LEGO Ideas Celebrate The Holidays in a Galaxy Far Far Away Building Contest

LEGO Ideas has kicked off a new LEGO Star Wars holiday building contest to win some great prizes. All you have to do is to build a Holiday Star Wars scene using one of the following sets:

• Millennium Falcon
• TIE Fighter
• X-Wing Fighter
• AAT
• AT-AT
• Jedi Interceptor
• 501st Legion Clone Troopers

There will be three winners and 1st Place will get the following:

• 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina
• 75005 Rancor Pit
• 31200 Star Wars The Sith (LEGO Art)
• 75275 A-Wing Starfighter
• 75318 The Child
• 40431 BB-8
• 40391 First Order Storm Trooper

The Second Place winner will get:

• 75292 The Razor Crest
• 75083 AT-DP
• 31200 Star Wars The Sith (LEGO Art)
• 75275 A-Wing Starfighter

The Third Place winner will get:

• 75288 AT-AT
• 8128 Cad Bane’s Speeder

LEGO Ideas Classic Castle Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Classic Castle by DERBOOR is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build is inspired by the old Castle themes and it includes a gate and a watchtower. Behind the gate is a little courtyard with a house as well.

The project now joins the Boeing 737 Passenger Plane, Colosseum (Architecture Style), Gravity Falls: The Mystery Shack, Brick Town Police Station, , Red Dwarf Starbug, and Avatar: The Last Airbender – YIP YIP! as the ones that have reached the Third 2020 Review Stage.

LEGO NASA Apollo Saturn V (92176) Relaunch First Look

Last month, LEGO confirmed that some retired LEGO Ideas will be relaunching with new set numbers and we now have a first look at the LEGO NASA Apollo Saturn V (92176). Alzashop has posted a product page for the set and it includes images of the new box with the updated set number. The Saturn V has the same number of pieces with 1,969 and it still lists it as a LEGO Ideas set. The box itself seems to be a little flatter and wider than the original one but that seems to be the only change between the two.

LEGO Ideas Avatar: The Last Airbender – YIP YIP! Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Avatar: The Last Airbender – YIP YIP! by StudioTRico is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build mostly features Appa along with a display stand and is minifig scale. It also proposes maky of the main characters on the show including Aang, Katara, Zuko, Sokka, Toph, Suki, Iroh, and Momo.

The project now joins the Boeing 737 Passenger Plane, Colosseum (Architecture Style), Gravity Falls: The Mystery Shack, Brick Town Police Station, , and Red Dwarf Starbug as the ones that have reached the Third 2020 Review Stage.

LEGO Ideas Saturn V (21309) In Stock on Amazon

Amazon currently has the LEGO Ideas Saturn V (21309) in stock again on the site. There’s no discount for it but this is the original version of the set which has already been retired on the LEGO Shop. LEGO has announced that this set will be re-released along with the Ship in a Bottle (21313) in the future under a different set number.

LEGO Ideas Red Dwarf Starbug Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Red Dwarf Starbug by Bobs Vintage Bricks is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build is based on the bug design ship from the British science fiction comedy Red Dwarf and it also include minifigures of Dave Lister, Arnold Rimmer, CAT, Kryten, and Kochanski.

The project now joins the Boeing 737 Passenger Plane, Colosseum (Architecture Style), Gravity Falls: The Mystery Shack, Brick Town Police Station, and Bag End as the ones that have reached the Third 2020 Review Stage.

LEGO Ideas Art Contest – Winning Builds Displayed in Denmark

LEGO Ideas has kicked off a brand new art building contest for some really good prizes, one of which is that your build will be displayed at the LEGO Campus in Denmark. Pretty much you just have to create something using LEGO bricks and you have to physically build it or you will be disqualified. Since the creations will be on display, they can’t be too small or too big so use your best judgement.

There will be five total winners of this contest you can choose one complete set of the LEGO Art series from the following:

• 4 x 31197 – LEGO Art Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe
• 4 x 31198 – LEGO Art The Beatles
• 3 x 31199 – LEGO Art Marvel Studios Iron Man
• 3 x 31200 – LEGO Art Star Wars™ The Sith™

In addition, your art creation will be displayed at the new LEGO Campus in Billund, Denmark.

The deadline to enter is November 3 at 6am EST.
