LEGO has officially revealed the LEGO Ideas Old Fishing Store (21310). It will be available on September 1 at a retail price of USD 149.99 / EURO 149.99 / GBP 139.99. It will be the largest LEGO Ideas set coming in at 2,049 pieces.

Find all the gear you need for a fantastic fishing trip at the Old Fishing Store! Walk up the steps from the beach into the shop selling fishing rods, hooks, harpoons, diving equipment, oxygen tanks and much more. Climb the ladder to the top of the watchtower and look through the telescope to enjoy the view. Then relax and read the newspaper in the office. Just make sure the cat or seagulls don’t eat the freshly caught fish hanging outside!

The LEGO Ideas NASA Apollo Saturn V (21309) doesn’t officially release here in the US until June 1, but it looks like Walmart has it available if you want to get it early. It is at the normal retail price of $119.99 and has free 2-day shipping as well.

LEGO Ideas Gilmore Girls – Luke’s Diner Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Gilmore Girls – Luke’s Diner by Rainer Zufall is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The setting for the project is from a prominent location from the popular comedy-drama show on the WB/CW. It also proposes minifigures of Lorelai, Luke, Rory, Jess, Lane, and Kirk.

The project hit the milestone in less than a month due to its coverage on online publications like Buzzfeed, Fortune, Time, and Mashable, just to name a few. I honestly did not watch Gilmore Girls so I’m not sure of its popularity even though I’ve heard of it before. It is the first project to reach the Second 2017 Review Stage.

LEGO Ideas NASA Apollo Saturn V (21309) Officially Revealed

LEGO has finally officially revealed the LEGO Ideas NASA Apollo Saturn V (21309). The set will consist of 1,969 pieces and retail for $119.99 and it stands at about 1 meter high (1:110 scale). This will be the largest LEGO Ideas set to date and will be available starting on June 1. Yes, it will come out the same day as the LEGO Creator Carousel (10257) which was announced yesterday.

If you didn’t notice, there’s one little Easter egg hidden in the piece count. As I mentioned above, it has 1,969 pieces and that number is also the year that the Apollo 11 landed the first humans on the moon with Neil Armstrong and pilot Buzz Aldrin.

Make history with the LEGO® NASA Apollo Saturn V, the first rocket to put people on the Moon! Build the 3 stages of this stunning meter-high rocket and display it on the stand or launch into orbit. The Medieval Watermill by fishingtwister is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The project can easily incorporate into a castle themed setting. It proposes three minifigures, a mom, dad, and son but the main feature here is that it can integrate Power Functions to rotate the watermill with everything hidden inside the building.

The project now joins The Blues Mobile, SEGA Classic Arcade Machines, Dungeon Master, Red Arrows Hawk, Venetian Houses, and Jeep Wrangler, NBC’s The Office, Tron Legacy Cycle, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and Surf Rescue as the projects to reach the First 2017 Review Stage.

LEGO Ideas Surf Rescue Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Surf Rescue project by LegoSurfRescue is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. This project shot up to the top of the mountain in the past day earning over 6000 supporters in the last few days. It features a non-licensed idea beach scene but more importantly it sends a message. In his last update, Damien stated that he has only about 6-10 weeks to live due to Stage 4 melanoma skin cancer and this project he has created with his son brings awareness to always be sun smart by protecting yourself when outdoors.
