LEGO Icons of Play (40634) Official Product Details

LEGO has put up the product page for the upcoming LEGO Icons of Play (40634) set on the LEGO Shop. We can now confirm that it will be releasing on June 6 at a retail price of $99.99. It does feature 15 minifigures, four of which are some of the more recent football/soccer players such as Megan Rapinoe, Yuki Nagasato, Sam Kerr, and Asisat Oshoala.

Inspire any soccer fan aged 12 and up with this LEGO® Icons of Play (40634) buildable toy set, featuring half a soccer field with a goal and VAR station, stands with a scoreboard, a ceremonial stage and more. LEGO Icons of Play (40643) Revealed

A Japanese LEGO Certified Store has revealed a brand new football/soccer set called Icons of Play (40643). The set has 899 pieces with a whopping 15 minifigures and features 15 of the top names in Women’s soccer including Megan Rapinoe, Yuki Nagasato, Sam Kerr, and Asisat Oshoala. It is listed for a June 6 release for 16,480 yen.

LEGO June 2023 Shopping Guide

Just like that, June is just a few weeks away and it is one of the biggest LEGO releases of the year with over 50 summer 2023 available for purchase. Here’s a quick guide on what to expect. The list is incomplete as LEGO hasn’t put up quite a few product pages such as for Friends.

As far as promotions go, we only know about the LEGO Spring Fun VIP Add-On Pack (40606) which will run until only June 3, if it lasts by then.

Update: The LEGO Pirate Ship Playground (40589) will run until June 3 with purchases of $100.

A Mexico LEGO Certified Store, legostoresmx, has revealed a new LEGO Taco Stand (5007866) gift with purchase set. From the looks of it, the set may be exclusive to Mexico for a limited time with purchases of $3,999 MXN which is about $227 USD. The set features a taquero stand with a spit and a minifigure of the cook. The promotion starts today but doesn’t specify an end date.

LEGO has revealed an unusual yet cute product to their summer 2023 lineup with the Up-Scaled LEGO Minifigure (40649). Releasing in June, the set has 654 pieces and retails for $49.99. You can now have any larger scale generic minifigure that you can display.
