LEGO Chinese New Year 2022 Sets Revealed

LEGO has revealed two new 2022 LEGO Chinese New Year sets at the 4th China International Import Expo. These sets include the Lunar New Year Traditions (80108) and Lunar New Year Ice Festival (80109) which are to celebrate the Year of the Tiger. The sets will be available early for the APAC region on December 25 and globally on January 1.

The Lunar New Year Traditions (80108) features a series of vignette-type builds that has six small scenes. One of the them includes the 财神 minifigure, the God of Prosperity. The Lunar New Year Ice Festival (80109) looks to be a rendition of the Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpure Festival and includes a Tiger minifigure.

Now we just have to wait for the official images of the sets to get a clearer look at them.

It looks like the LEGO Seasonal Polar Bear & Gift Pack (40494) is now live on the LEGO Shop. I thought it originally went up on October 1 but I guess it got delayed. LEGO October 2021 Sets Now Available on LEGO Shop

It is now officially October on the east coast and that means the LEGO Shop is now filled with brand new sets that you can purchase. LEGO has made the product listing for the LEGO Seasonal Santa’s Sleigh (40499) live and we can now see the pricing and other details for it. The set will be available on October 1 and the 343 piece set will retail for $36.99. As people mentioned before, it’s basically a reindeer “battle pack” and a cheaper way to get four reindeer.
