The nominees for the 2023 Toys of the Year Awards have been announced and LEGO has quite a few sets in the running this year. As usual you can submit your picks for a chance to win some of the toys. The winners will be announced on November 20. LEGO has eight products nominated in six categories which you can check out below.

LEGO August 2023 Sets Live on LEGO Shop

August is now here and that brings new LEGO summer 2023 sets, themes, and more to the LEGO Shop and is one of the biggest shopping days of the year in North America. There are over 90 sets that have now been released to the public including ones for new themes like LEGO DREAMZzz, Gabby’s Dollhouse, and Sonic the Hedgehog. For us here in the US, we finally get the LEGO City which have been available in other countries for a few months now.

For the promotions, we still only have the LEGO Fun Creativity 12-in-1 (40593) so far with purchases of $80 and the Choose Your Gift (City/Friends) with purchases of $40. Both promotions will run until August 6. As for outside promotions, Rakuten has a 10% member appreciation promo which lasts until midnight PST as of this post.

August is almost here and it is one the biggest LEGO release days on the LEGO Shop for the US because that is when we finally get the summer 2023 sets. There are over 90 sets that will be dropping from a number of themes.

LEGO has revealed a new Technic set coming in August with the Yamaha MT-10 SP (42159). The set has 1,478 pieces and retails for $239.99.

Each detail has been considered to make this model as faithful as possible to the real-life Yamaha. LEGO has put up the product page for the new LEGO Technic Liebherr Crawler Crane LR 13000 (42146) and we finally have the official details for the set. Releasing on August 1, the set has 2,883 pieces and will retail for a whopping $699.99. It stands oer 38 inches and it ranks among one of the tallest sets that LEGO has made. It does come with two smart hubs and six large motors to power the functions using the CONTROL+ app.

LEGO June 2023 Sets Live on LEGO Shop

June is now here and that means one of the biggest LEGO release dates of the year is now live on the LEGO Shop. There are over 50 LEGO summer 2023 sets that are available for various themes. For the promotions, the LEGO Pirate Ship Playground (40589) will only run until June 3 with purchases of $100 so get it before it goes away.
