LEGO Unofficially Announced as Best Booth at SDCC 2025

LEGO SDCC 2025

The SDCC Unofficial Blog last week started voting on their annual Shruggie Awards for the best panel, offsite, booth, etc. The votes are now in and the winners have been announced with LEGO being The Best Booth at San Diego Comic-Con 2025.

This year’s booth, LEGO decided to make a miniature version of San Diego Comic Con with a recreation of the San Diego Convention Center. It was made from over 200,000 LEGO elements and had over 8,000 minifigures. The back side featured panels and booths as well as the exhibit floor where fans could build their own booth and some lucky ones were placed inside the display.

Note that the voting process was write-ins and not multiple choice so fans had to actually write in their favorite booths. Although it’s nothing official, it’s nice to see that the LEGO booth was recognized by fans as the best one of the entire show even though there were some impressive ones like Star Wars, VIZ, and Tamashii Nations. LEGO annually goes all out at SDCC and we’ll just have to wait and see what they have in store for next year.

LEGO San Diego Comic Con 2025 Recap

LEGO SDCC 2025

San Diego Comic Con 2025 has come and gone and we can now do a recap on the LEGO happens during the event. Before it started, LEGO announced a few new sets that will be coming in the next few months. These include the LEGO Nintendo Game Boy (72046), LEGO DC Batman Arkham Asylum (76300), a new wave of LEGO Wicked sets, and the LEGO Stranger Things BrickHeadz Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Will (40801). All of the sets were displayed on the outer edges at the LEGO Booth.

Speaking of the LEGO Booth, they were one of the main highlights of the whole event with the recreation of the convention center. It was made up of over 200,000 LEGO elements and has over 8,000 minifigures that are placed inside. It took 16 builders over 1,500 hours to create the masterpiece. You can still check out the booth at home by doing a Virtual Booth Tour.

If you try out the interactive zone of the booth, fans were able to build their own version of a booth and if they were good enough, they would be placed inside the brick-built convention center.

As for the exclusives, there was a lot of stuff available even though they weren’t the sets and minifigures from years past. The main ones were the Pop Badges that you can get each day which included LEGO Ninjago Legends Monstrosity, LEGO One Piece, LEGO DC, and LEGO Wicked. There was also one for Preview Night which I wasn’t able to … Continue

On the outside of the booth, there are picture taking opportunities with Wicked’s Elphaba and Glinda. Next to them is Adventure Peely and next to that is K-2SO.

Also for a limited time, you can get some exclusive Minifigure Factory LEGO-Con designs to use on your torsos.

LEGO at San Diego Comic Con 2025

The LEGO San Diego Comic Con 2025 schedule looks to be set as all the programming announcements have been revealed. Like last year, it’ll sort of be a slower year in terms of panels. The booth details are still under wraps probably until Preview Night. LEGO also revealed some new products last year so we can guess that they might do something similar this year.

Like with the last few years, we probably won’t see any exclusive sets or minifigures that we line up for but there’s still some fun things to go there. There was a scavenger hunt for a LEGO Prize Pack which included a fairly exclusive LEGO Master Gold Keychain and minifigure. There were also some pins to collect when you took pictures so they could so it again as fans seemed to like it.
