Just to get the elephant out of the room, the big talk the past few days is the list of LEGO sets that have had a price bump at a few retailers (Barnes & Noble, Target) and there is little time left to get them at the current prices. Reported LEGO Price Increase Set List via Barnes & Noble

Last month, LEGO announced an upcoming price increase on sets that are coming as soon as August and now Barnes & Noble has given us a look at what we can expect to see for the new prices at retailers soon. Yesterday, the big news came out on B&N as they updated their site of over 60+ sets that have already gotten the price bump and it doesn’t look good as some sets will be getting an increase of up to 25%.

Note that the official prices on the LEGO Shop are the final prices and prices listed at other retailers are their own prices. With that said now that we can see what we can expect from other retailers, I highly suggest you take advantage of the upcoming Double VIP Points event from July 12-13 and Amazon Prime Day to get the most out of your money as wallet will be hurting in August. This also doesn’t look like it’s the final list if we’re comparing it to the list that StoneWars put out a while back and there will be more sets that will get the price hike later on.

LEGO Santa’s Front Yard (40484) Christmas in July Promotion Live

It’s Christmas in July on the LEGO Shop as the promotion for the LEGO Santa’s Front Yard (40484) has returned. The promo was originally for Black Friday sales last year and you’ll have to spend $170 to get it. The promo will run from now until July 15, while supplies last. LEGO Double VIP Points Event on July 12-13

LEGO has announced that Double VIP Points will be returning next week on the LEGO Shop. It will be happening on July 12-13 which is the exact same days as Amazon Prime Day. No doubt this is direct competition to the online giant and you’ll be able to earn more points towards future discounts/rewards. Double points will also work on pre-orders as there are a few sets that you can place order early on and will ship at their designated release dates.

Amazon Prime Day 2022 Coming Soon

Amazon Prime Day 2022 is coming up in less than a week (July 12-13) and if you’ve been shopping with them, you know there will be some LEGO sales spread out during the event. Usually the sales range from 30%-50% off and there are generally there are a few sets that are “desirable” if you collect a certain LEGO theme. Last year we had a few Star Wars, Marvel, and City sets that were decent. I’ll try to list the sets that go on the larger discounts when they become available but just keep an eye out for anything you see that’s on your building/collecting wish list.

Of course, there also plenty of other things that go on sale on Amazon as well. If you’re not a Prime member, you can sign up for a 30 day free trial and you get all the same benefits including free shipping.

LEGO Icons Fairground Collection Loop Coaster (10303) Available to General Public

For those who are not LEGO VIP members, the LEGO Icons Fairground Collection Loop Coaster (10303) is now available for everyone to purchase. The set comes with 3,756 pieces and retails for $399.99 and is one of the largest sets in the Fairground Collection subtheme. Currently there are no general promotions going on in the early part of July besides the Mini Thunder Raider (30592) polybag but you have to buy LEGO Ninjago products to get it.
