Detailed spaceship and iconic characters

The spacious cockpit opens to reveal a pilot’s seat and instrument panel from where the mighty Thanos controls the ship. Down below in the cargo room sits the Infinity Gauntlet. Taking a page out of LEGO’s playbook, Walmart is now offering pre-orders for the new LEGO Creator Fish Tank (31122) for 35% off the normal retail price. Even at $19.49 as of this post, it’ll still be cheaper with shipping and applicable taxes than if you were buying from the LEGO Shop so if you’re wanting this set, now is a great time to put an order in for it. The only bad thing is that it won’t ship until August which is the release date here in the US so it doesn’t really matter that much.

The set costs $299.99 and it is the largest Marvel set to be produced by LEGO coming in at 3,770 pieces. It also has 25 minifigures which includes some fan favorite ones such as Blade, Black Widow, Daredevil, and Punisher.

LEGO Swing Ship Ride (5006746) Promotion Coming in June

Somewhat buried in the middle of the June 2021 LEGO Store Calendar is a neat little promotion for the Swing Ship Ride (5006746). It will be available from June 21-31 with purchases of $85 or more, while supplies last on the LEGO Shop and in stores. The 152 piece set was previously an Asia exclusive set to celebrate International Children’s Day but this version has been modified with a sign that says “Leg Godt” or “play well” in Danish. Note that the Asia version was limited to only 1,000 pieces, which it technically is due to the front sign, but hopefully LEGO will have a lot of the Leg Godt version for those who wants one.

The June 2021 LEGO Store Calendar is now available and we can see some of the promotions and events that will be happening during the month. The main thing is the new concept that LEGO is trying with the LEGO Ninjago 10th Anniversary BrickHeadz (40490). Instead of a gift-with-purchase, there’s an option for you to buy it for $10 when you make an $85 purchase. I’ve heard of rumors that LEGO may try this out and it looks like it’ll be starting in a few days.

LEGO has kicked off a new promotion on the LEGO Shop for the LEGO DOTS Photo Holder Cube (30557). From now until June 30, you can get it for free with purchases of $40 or more on LEGO DOTS LEGO VIDIYO, or LEGO Friends. The offer is valid for both online and in-stores. This promo was not listed on the May 2021 Store Calendar so it’s a nice surprise but it has already been available at Walmart.
