LEGO City People Pack – Space Research and Development (60230) Best Buy Sale – December 2020

Best Buy currently has the LEGO City People Pack – Space Research and Development (60230) on sale for only $31.99 which is 20% off the normal retail price. This is the lowest price I’ve seen the set at and it seems to be at the end of its shelf life as it was released last year on the LEGO Shop. The only downside is that you’ll get it in 2-3 weeks. You can also choose store pickup to save on the shipping cost.

LEGO Botanical Collection Pre-Orders on Amazon Canada

If you’re in Canada and want to secure one of the new and highly anticipated LEGO Botanical Collection sets, you may want to head over to Amazon Canada. They are offering preorders for both the Flower Bouquet (10280) and the Bonsai Tree (10281). I fully expected these two sets to sell out when they launch on the LEGO Shop on January 1 so why not guarantee the sets early and avoid the hassle later of trying to find one later. Unfortunately, you’ll be missing out on VIP points and whatever promotion(s) LEGO will be having. Again, this is for Canada only.

LEGO 2021 Sets Found Early at Kohl’s Stores

If you want to get your hands on some 2021 LEGO sets, you may want to check your local Kohl’s store. There have been many reports saying there are a variety of themes available early including Star Wars, Marvel, Minecraft, City, Mario, as well as the Series 21 Collectible Minifigures. Your store many vary as to what they got in early but it’s worth checking out. They could be a chance to get last minute Christmas gifts but for new LEGO products that won’t officially be out until January 1.

Unofficial LEGO Foot Stabber Shirt Available on TeeFury

I haven’t written about this in a while but there’s finally an unofficial LEGO shirt available over at TeeFury. For today only, there’s a shirt called Foot Stabber which features a red 2×4 brick with some knives. If you’ve ever stepped on one on accident (or intentionally), you know the feeling. The shirt costs $12 plus shipping and it comes in five different colors.

LEGO Star Wars Death Star II Battle (40407) Promo Available Again on LEGO Shop

LEGO has made the LEGO Star Wars Death Star II Battle (40407) promotion available again with purchases of $75 or more in LEGO Star Wars products. The set has 235 pieces and was available earlier this year during the May the 4th event. Like with last week when the Battle of Endor – 20th Anniversary Edition (40362) was available, there isn’t much left on the LEGO Shop to choose from to get the promo which is pretty unfortunate for people who didn’t get it the first time. The promotion also stacks with the free 2020 LEGO Holiday Gift Set (5006482).

LEGO Sets Retiring Soon – December 2020

LEGO Shop Europe has recently updated their Retiring Soon list and there are some sets you may think of picking up before they go away by the end of the year. Although they aren’t listed on the North American, I believe it’ll be the same for over here.

Some of the more notable sets that will be leaving soon include the LEGO Star Wars Tantive IV (75244) and the LEGO Creator Volkswagen T1 Camper Van (10220). Also on the list are some older LEGO Hidden Side sets and the legacy Power Functions components.

Although a lot of the products are out of stock and sold out, I suggest searching at other retailers to see if they have them in stock like on Amazon.
