It is still priced at $59.97 but you can save $9.98 on it if you apply the coupon on the page. The set hasn’t been on sale since late December and it could be one of the sets that will be going away later this year as more LEGO Ideas sets are released this year.

LEGO Double VIP Points Event Rumored for March

The March 2020 LEGO Store Calendar was released yesterday and we got to see some of the promotions but it didn’t show anything about any Double VIP points since we haven’t gotten it for a few months. I have on good intel that we will be getting a LEGO Double Point event next month from March 20-29. We don’t have any official details on it at this time but we’ll probably get an email as we get closer to the start date.

LEGO March 2020 Store Calendar Promotions & Events

The March 2020 LEGO Store Calendar is now available and we can now see some of the promotions and events that will be happening during the month.


March 1-15: Free LEGO Trains 40th Anniversary Set (40370) with purchases of $99 or more, while supplies last.

March 1: LEGO DOTS officially launches.

March 1-31: Help Us DOT the Store. Design a 6×6 pattern on a brick canvas using the tiles provided.

March 9-22: Free LEGO DOTS Mini Frame (30556) with purchases of $35 or more, while supplies last.

March 11: Build. Unbuild. Rebuild. building event at LEGO Stores. All participants will receive a small gift for participating. Registration is required and begins on March 6.

March 19: How Do You DOT? building event at LEGO Stores. Registration is required and begins on March 6. DOTS bracelet is not included and is for purchase separately.

You can get both The Razor Crest (75292) and the LEGO BrickHeadz The Mandalorian & The Child (75317) with the pre-order price guarantee which states you can save money if the pre-order price drops for whatever reason. The Razor Crest is priced at $129.99 and it includes minifigures of The Mandalorian, Greef Karga, Scout Trooper, the Child, and IG-11. Walmart is currently running a LEGO Masters promotion online in which you can save up to 25% on baseplate bundles. Build your bundle with any of the four available baseplate colors (Green, Blue, Gray, White) and the final price will automatically be listed. Any deals on baseplates is good especially if you’re building larger sized layouts. Here are the combinations of baseplates with the prices:

LEGO City Cargo Train (60198) Amazon Sale – February 2020

If you’re into LEGO trains, the LEGO City Cargo Train (60198) is currently on sale for $176 on Amazon. This is the lowest price this set has been in about ten months so you know it doesn’t have many significant discounts that often. The set does include the Powered Up system as well as enough track pieces to go around in a circle. Note that this sale price only applies to the Overbox edition, whatever that means that it ships in the LEGO shipping box that retailers get.
