The LEGO Originals Wooden Minifigure (853967) is now available for purchase for VIPs on Shop@Home. It retails for $119.99 and you can get 780 VIP points with your purchase. LEGO did state that it is a limited edition collectible but didn’t say how many were produced. In addition, there are also LEGO Originals Bundles that has the Wooden Minifigure along with other LEGO products included as well.

This Cloud City playset isn’t a very popular set but maybe this discount could tempting enough to warrant a purchase. Betrayal at Cloud City is reported to be one of the sets that will be retiring at the end of the year.

If you saw my post of upcoming retiring sets, the Saturn V is on the list so now is a great time to pick it up before it goes away. Keep in mind that i is for the Frustration-Free Packaging which could either mean that it ships inside the LEGO shipping box or a shipping label could be slapped on the Saturn box itself. It’s a coin toss but at least you can always get a refund if you don’t like how you receive it.

Retiring LEGO Sets for 2019

I have received a list of LEGO sets that will be retiring at the end of the 2019 so you have about two months to pick them up if you have not yet done so. This very extensive list comes from a very reliable source and I am confident that this is the final list for 2019.

The pricing market for LEGO sets is very volatile as the sale for The LEGO Movie 2 Welcome to Apocalypseburg (70840) has dropped even further from a few days ago. It is now priced at $186.99 which is 38% off the regular price and is the lowest price it’s ever been at. If you purchased it a few days ago, I believe you can talk to customer service to see if you can get the difference back. I do try to find you guys the best possible deals, especially on these larger sets, but I can’t predict how low the price can drop.
