LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Battle of Atlantis (76085) Amazon Prime Member Sale

If you’re an Amazon Prime member, there’s a pretty good deal on the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Battle of Atlantis (76085). It is currently on sale for only $11.99 which is 40% off the regular price of $19.99. The set comes with the Justice League version of Aquaman, a Parademon, and two Atlantean Guards but the main draw here are the sand green pieces which make up most of the set. There’s no word on when the deal is over but get it while you can if you’re a parts monkey.

LEGO Technic Bucket Wheel Excavator (42055) Amazon Sale

It looks like Amazon has unofficially kicked off Prime Day early with a great deal on the LEGO Technic Bucket Wheel Excavator (42055). It is currently priced at $199.99 which is a whopping 29% off the normal price of $279.99. Coming in at 3,929 pieces, the Bucket Wheel Excavator is one of the largest Technic sets LEGO has released and the $0.05/piece ratio makes it even better. We usually don’t see decent discounts this big for sets this size but this is one of the exceptions.

Last Day for Double LEGO VIP Points (June-July 2018)

Today is the last day for Double VIP Points on LEGO Shop@Home so if you’ve been holding off on getting your purchases in, you should pull the trigger soon. The LEGO Beach Tote promotion is also in effect so you can get even more if you’re making a big purchase. To help you reach that purchasing requirement, we do have the newly released and very popular LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter sets available for order. They are still currently under backorder status but they will ship out by July 21. There’s no word on when the next Double VIP Points event will be held but there is a small one for some Harry Potter sets in August.

If you’ve been holding off on getting the LEGO Star Wars UCS Snowspeeder (75144), Walmart, of all places, currently has it on sale for 20% off and it is going for $159.95. If you’ve been collecting the UCS set, you would know that UCS sets usually don’t go on sale on LEGO Shop@Home so getting any kind of discount on it is a good deal. Even with the Double VIP Points promotion going on Shop@Home right now, the 20% discount is still the better deal and an even greater one for a pretty awesome set. LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter Hogwarts Express (75955)

Yesterday was the release of the LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter sets here in the US but due to a glitch in the system, the Hogwarts Express (75955) set was not available for purchase. The good news is that it is now up for purchase on Shop@Home so if you missed it, you can now get it. The Double VIP Points promotion is still going so if you were planning on getting it anyways, double points is a good incentive. All of the other sets besides the BrickHeadz are on backorder but you can still order them and they will ship by July 16. Sets on backorder usually ship before the date listed.

LEGO August 2018 Store Calendar Promotions & Events

August 2018 LEGO Store Calendar

It’s a new month and that means the new August 2018 LEGO Store Calendar is now available to show the promotions and events for the month. I’ll upload higher quality images once it goes live online.

August 1-14: Free LEGO Plants set with purchases of $35 or more, while supplies last. These are the first LEGO elements made from plants in an initiative that launched earlier this year.

August 1-12: Free LEGO Unikitty Castle Room (5005239) with purchases of $25 or more, while supplies last.

August 1-31: VIPs get Double VIP Points on Newt’s Case of Magical Creatures (75952) and Hogwarts Whomping Willow (75953).

August 7-8: VIP Monthly Mini Model Build is a Snail. Registration starts on July 15.

August 15-31: VIPs get Early Access to a new exclusive LEGO set. No word on what this set is but it’s possible that it’s the teased LEGO James Bond Aston Martin set.

August 18 & 25: LEGO Life Meeting

August 20: Minifigure Swap Monday

August 22: Build and Take Toucan model. Registration starts on August 1.

The surprise LEGO Double VIP promotion is now live on Shop@Home. You can get double points on your purchase including on the UCS Millennium Falcon (75192). In addition to double points, you also can get the LEGO Beach Tote with a purchase of $199 or more. The double LEGO VIP points event runs until July 7 while the Beach Tote runs until July 8.
