WhiteFang over on Eurobricks has done his review of the Series 13 LEGO Collectible Minifigures (71008) and has given a distribution of each minifigure in a full box. Again, LEGO has gone back to having three complete sets per box.
Looking at the distribution, it looks like some of the more populars ones so far will be fairly hard to find including the Unicorn Girl and the Hot Dog Man. For the army builders, it’ll be fairly easy to find the Goblins, Galaxy Troopers, and Alien Troopers.

LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 13 (71008) will be available at LEGO Stores and on Shop@Home on January 1st and I assume the price will be same at $3.99/pack. You can probably start seeing them at larger retailers like Walmart, Target, Toys R Us, and Walgreens in mid to late December.

Where does one obtain a complete box on release day? Do the LEGO Stores sell them in bulk cases, or must they be ordered from somewhere special?
You can usually find them on eBay, Amazon, or BrickLink but at slightly higher prices.
In a way, many of the heads and accessories for the head could be put to use in some other way. Like for example the alein trooper’s head piece sort of looks like what and “ood” is in Dr. Who. And as well the Goblin’s hat looks like the green goblins from animated versions of spider man
