Back in June, LEGO teased part of the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Kryptonite Interception (76045) set but there is now “official” images of both the set as well as the box art. The set 306 pieces and will retail for $29.99 and it includes minifigures of Ben Affleck’s Batman and two Lexcorp Henchman. The set also has the new Batmobile that we’ve saw closeups of before as well as a Lexcorp forklift carrying some kryptonite. As stated back in June, the set will be available on January 1st. Looks like a decent enough set. the fact that it’s just below the 10 cents a piece mark is good, and the new Batmobile actually looks pretty cool. However, the kryptonite forklift is boring, and just seems to be there to boost up the piece count, and set in this range really should have come with another major character.
Let’s be honest… The best part about this set is the Batmobile 😛
I agree with Armageddon and UnchartedLego. I think another major character should have been added as well.
Definitely easy to pass this one up, which is sad because I am afraid it means they might not do more sets based on the movie.
